You know what lightened my mood today?
It warmed to -11º at near 3pm and I watched this through the sliding glass door, trying not to intrude.
That is something special today. We usually see only females. This is the first time I have seen a male Anna's Hummingbird at our feeder.
He decided to pose for the shot.
I'm no longer 16 but I think this was really cool.

Guessing the sugar water in the feeder is frozen solid, and the hummingbird is confused/hungry.

It's a balmy -9.2 here.

Almost, there was enough to suck it dry, and that's when I went into replenish mode with the extra sugar water.

We have a Ruby Tuesdays that has been closed for about two years. Still has the sign on the front.

This should lighten people's mood, apparently CD sales are on the up, hopefully this could lead to more new CD players, a new one from Bang & Olufsen would be cool.
