My mistake….
when you switch on the main power the display flash for a moment then nothing.....and the leds above buttons stay OFF….everything is off including standby LED….

Could you please give me the contact details of the Dutch importer or maybe ask him if I can buy an eeprom chip?
I have already sent an e-mail to the German Mark Levinson service, but unfortunately they do not reply!

Hi Fenice.
Try taking off the Altera chip and check if the VCC and GND pins are shorted,
use the positive probe of the tester on VCC and the negative probe on GND if it sounds logical it is shorted, also check the same pins of the socket on the motherboard.

thanks for the suggestion, I will try this evenig......anyway the chip remains cold when the 37 is turned on.....I already tried the voltages on the regulators and the values are correct....There was no storms or voltage fluctuations in the power grid..the ML37 was disconnected for a few monts and when I reconnected it the problem the problem started....
Can I also try to turn on the ML without the Altera in the socket to test the VCC value ? What is the right value ?

Dear all, I am unable to get additional Altera chips. I got one arranged for Sergio but that was a unique situation. I have spoken with the importer who basically made one (1) exception as normally they don't do this. So sorry for everyone with a defective #37 but there is nothing I can do any further.
