Pre COVID, China's GDP was growing @ 4.2% and increasing.
Would a VIRUS released upon 1.4 Billion people change this ???

Well, to be fair, it took time to create that 'miracul'. Despite being studied for years, mRNA vaccines had their challenges and it took the seriousness of COVID and the associated funding to solve those challenges. For example, it was explored with Ebola but because this only affected an isolated pocket of the world and was not as fast-spreading as COVID, money was not thrown at its development at that time. It probably would have if Ebola was in the US or Europe, I guess.

It’s not necessary to travel at the speed of light when coming from a great distance. Especially if the vehicles are drones or probes, so to speak. For an alien civilization 100 years could be a drop in the bucket.
Those 10 feets tall alliens stopped to travel at ligtht speed cause they were reduced down to 25 inches at the arrival.
And just what are you (or anyone) going to do with that information? Calling out your 192.168 address is like shouting to the world “I have a Special Purpose!”.

Well to us it might be useless, but I'd be nervous if out of thin air data about my LAN starts popping up in my posts, I'd be concerned about something happening in the background, clipboard issues or something. might be indicative of something, also might be nothing. that's how conspiracy theories go.

I don't know how to calculate the alien travel speed to make them from 120" to 25" 😳
But if you can convert the message in dark matter, then E=MC2 doesn't apply anymore and you can send anything faster than ligth which was usual speed only for stupidity that is known to go faster than ligth as it is instantaneous !
