I am very content with how the DSD'it sounds but I have a problem when feeding DSD from HQPlayer. PCM from HQPlayer works perfect. But with DSD I get a very strong, audible noise floor. I will have to dig into this further. Maybe one of you can help. The DSD'it board 5V is coming from the Beaglebone power supply.
This problem it not new. Someone else is experiencing the exact same thing, but then not in combination with Xing U30 but with Beaglebone. See this post: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/simple-dsd-src-for-beaglebone.358147/post-7345755

DSC have clasic pin to pin connection which is a bad design, I had that isues with CT7302PL which is in relation to pin to pin connection, solved all isues by replacing pin to pin with u-fl to u-fl , so fully coahial connection is need!!!Hi everyone, I just finished DSC 2.6.2 and i have a noise from left channel .. some advaise?
Hi guys, which one of these input board should I prefer for DSC 2.6.2?

Thanks guys I will check connections on the board, meanwile I build 3 of them I will check others
P.s All ic from mouser and farnell

Both are not worth dsc 2.6.2 quality. Use Xing U30 to make your 2.6.2 really shine. https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/1005002676272661.htmlHi guys, which one of these input board should I prefer for DSC 2.6.2?

I should use it with a i3 NUC using Daphile. By the way, how does the DSC go with Daphile? I would use it to obtain the DSD streaming...

Very good. Geosto is doing this.
With respect to power supply when using the standard NUC adapter, the Xing U30 could benefit a bit from having its own power supply. E.g. this one https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/1005....0.0.1a1c61d7SzUPfK&mp=1&gatewayAdapt=glo2nld

I would look for an paraleled LT3045 regulator for booth DSC and U30, one with no external pnp and with absolut 4.7uF as their output capacitor, more info -> https://www.diyaudio.com/community/...ow-noise-vref-the-gled431.285346/post-4589769
The LT3042 wants its 4.7uF output capacitor to have just that value. Departing
in either direction creates noise peaks at high frequencies, but still with an absolute
value the others can only dream about.

In the picture you can see that L1 has been removed and that a jumper has been added. There I still use USB power. But if you remove the jumper connection you can give 5V to the right pin. And connect ground to the groundplane, just find a suitable spot.
