Demonkleaner,
I googled and didn’t spot anything in the NA market like the boxes Bas posted above. What specific link(s) did you find useful?
You can do a google search and check the images. Usually a link to the seller.
Try search terms "bamboo wall box" and "bamboo silverware tray" in the Amazon search box.
Deamoncleaner,
If Bas could indulge the off-topic question, I was wondering if you actually tried your proposed searches and came up with something useful. I did not. It would help if you could give links to the good stuff you found. (I did see a couple of boxes with lids, but they were small, possibly Ok for small monoblocks).

<metal working> Not so much a chore as it is daunting...I'm always holding off starting.
Any progress on your “Stupendous Amp” now that you have the power transformer in hand? Listened any yet? No pressure, I’m just curious how it sounds.
Good luck.

Try thinking outside the box 😀
😀. OK, you go ahead and “think those rabbeted and glued-in dividers out of the box” so that we could use it for our amps 🙂
After I received the transformers...I was not sure how to fit it all....so the doubt led to procrastination and therefore no progress. But also busy painting the house etc. Hopefully this week I'll have the stamina.Any progress on your “Stupendous Amp” now that you have the power transformer in hand?

No divider.....

I've been runing mine as is for a while, not dailym but every time I turn it on, it just works like it's supposed to 🙂

Not yet. I seem to give se projects my time. But I'll finish it this spring for sure. First a Salas 6v6 and then the stupendous!Bas,
Have you finished the Stupendous? Please tell us more.
I have one question for you serial builders: what do tou do with the amps you built? Keep them, sell them? If sell, how?
A very good question. Something I think of more and more. My three pushull amps are littering the house. Two in my bedroom next to bed. I can hardly get into bed. Then a pushpull under the tv in a cabinet. Currently I have SE 509 in my bedroom system that I use. One rh84 lent out to someone who wanted to listen to a se amp. And one RH84 that is surplus. Then the Zen clone currently in my main system. Other half done projects in my hobby room. And believe it or not I have no preamp at the moment. Using an autoformer avc. So the Salas 6v6 is going to go in my system.
The thing about selling is you don't get a decent price. And there are things I won't get rid off or sell. Especially transformers that are unobtainium like Magnequest or the Sony Tamradio or the One Electrons (first I bought). But I might sell something in the future....because things are getting out of hand.
So the plan is to still make the pushpull amps good enough (one day). Long story short...Up to now I have kept them all. (Also thinking of giving away to family that is interested. One cousin only so far.)
PS. In the beginning my amps weren't too pretty...so I cannabilize them to make new stuff.

I have enough relatives to take care of my builds for a while yet.
In addition I have five stereo systems in the house so the solid state ones can still be supplanted with tube amps.
Selling isn't worth the effort in my opinion. At least not in the area I live in. If I lived in Atlanta, or any other really large city it would probably be easy to do and take less effort.
kodabmx: How much power do you get, what operating point?
My 6P1P-PP put out 8W per channel IIRC. I ran it very conservatively, but a guitar amp I built achieved almost 15W while running hot. I figured 10-12W PP would not be too hot so 20-24W for a PPP?
