I used to think point to point was the best, but I really enjoy PCBs overall now. Greatly increases ease when building more complex or repetitive stuff like arrays or PSUs.

At what primary impedance are you planning to use your Lundahl LL1620s?

3k3. And they say this in the datasheet:

Step 1 From your secondary load impedance (4, 8 or 16 ohms), we suggest a secondary connection alternative with 0.5 dB loss.

Scary. I had a short... Luckily fused. Triple fused. Main. And then one for each channel.

Just removed the ecc81 out of the circuit BTW. Way too much gain. Even with just the EL84. Much more gain than I need. I'll turn it into triode mode soon.

Looks like I'll have rebuild it. Hummmm. I not sure of it is power transformer too close to output. Or something else.

All video's without bass just so you know. The plate amp went into protection mode after I swopped rca input cables.
