Im looking for a (preferably free) solution to stream Qobuz to an RPi.
I've been using Roon using Ropiee, works fine exept for buggy Andriod app, but i'd like to go with a freeware instead if i can.
RopieeXL works for Spotify and some other services, probably Tidal to but Qobuz seems to only work with chomecasts for there Qobuz connect as far as i get it working.
Perhaps Volumio works, i have that in my other music room. I have Volumeo integrated in my MiniDsp SHD, but i think that also costs money like Roon if i want to get it on my other streamer.
Another solution would be to go with Tidal.. but i've been liking Qobuz better (no forced JayZ-commercials and better focus on jazz
Any suggestions on a free streamer that supports Qobuz connect?

You mean streamer software for rpi?
LMS "universe"
Just google picoreplayer. Got spotify, qobus, tidal plugins to name a few. It does everything that Roon does and its free. It is also light on system resources.
Volumio and Roon to name a few has gotten "too comercial" for my liking.
Moode audio has probably Qobus integration as well (have not checked lately)

Thanks. I've tried a few but I don't think I've tried picoreplayer, I'll give it a try!You mean streamer software for rpi?

Moode I never understood how to use. I don't want to use (probably due to me thinking it should be used differently than they intended)
Hi
I think the paid version of Volumio has Qobuz integration.
With the free version, only Spotify is available (my case)
Check the volumio forums to see if working well.
Hope that helps.

I dont know if they still support Qobuz. Cant find it now that i've installed picoreplayer and LMS.
I use Volumio Virtuoso with Qobuz, annual cost for the two is the same as Tidal streamed through Moode, so I consider Virtuoso free.
The advantage for me is reliability, I found Tidal+Moode+Bubbleupnup to be unreliable.

Are you using custom repositories? i cant find half of what you have there.

I use a Raspberry Pi with a JustBoom DigiHAT. The Pi is running Moode. To listen to Qobuz, I use the BubbleUPnP app on my Android phone. It works very well and I rarely have to reboot the Pi. The only "downside" is that you cannot manage music or your playlist from within the Qobuz app--you need to use BubbleUPnP. Very slight learning curve (IMO).
While none of the streaming apps that I've tried look great, BubbleUPnP looks pretty good. As a bonus, it handles all sorts of file types, including video. I can download movies to my phone and stream them to my Smart TV. It even transcodes filetypes if necessary.
Moode is free. BubbleUPnP is (I think) a one-time $5 purchase. Volumio and Roon use subscription models.

How did you find this?
I looked high and low, tried 3 different version of Picoreplayer, tried to update LMS respo's.... and searched all possible google results. And I can find zero reference to anything other than claims about Qobuz plugin - but not a single link or guide to hint anything about Qobuz. I see Tidal and that is also the only thing that I see described on Logiech's homepage.
Yours, is the only thing I could find that showed anything relating to Qobuz and LMS - in actual picture - not just "just add pluging" - which is written many times, but never really explaind.
I also tried to understand how to add extra plugins into LMS, by copying links from github into LMS - no luck.
My hope is to have my Raspberry Pi 3 with Allo One, run Qobus to my stereo via Picoreplayer. Just using a NAS and LMS, has always worked fine. So I hope it's just me being ignorant and a few clicks of doing something else than what I've tried 🙂
i also have this error:
https://repos.squeezecommunity.org/extensions.xml - Error reading headers: Server closed connection without sending any data back at /usr/local/slimserver/CPAN/Net/HTTP/Methods.pm line 306.
Could that be some reason for concern?

I've used Picoreplayer with the Qobuz player for some time. It works, but it often stops or goes to the next track when playing long songs.
Scroll down the page, that is a liost of installed Plugins
nope --- nothing....

I suggest you make a fresh install of piCorePlayer (Standard 32 bit) and start over.
Lots of help on the slimdevices forum
