Yes I read the post, I am curious about people experience from using different MOSFET and effect on audible distortion.
Finally got both units updated and running in today. As Tungsten mentioned back in his original post, these amps are quite amazing in bridged mono. I am so happy I have two. Recordings are cleanly reproduced and many favorite tunes just sound more emotional and musical. Sure, this means that sub-par recordings or odd choices during the recording can be heard, I went from song to song with a grin on my face. Nice! I do plan on updating Q1 and S2, but next year...not now! I'm also wondering what will change if updating the internal signal wiring. Again, not now...I'm having too much fun.
Also "TME" (a large electronic components internet store) in Poland have IRFP 140's in stock - several versions/manufacturers. This link may be usefull to European builders. I have found them very reliable and well stocked

Thanks. I don't see that they have them in stock. Mouser has them on back order which appears to be my best path. In regard to the 68.1K metal film resister Mouser has two which I cannot figure out why they are different and which is the correct one to use. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. And I apologize if this was already asked and answered in a prior post.

Someone is buying these up at a surprising rate. Last week I sent an RFQ to Utmel when they had nearly a thousand of these. Today, I still have no RFQ in my inbox and Utmel has only 5 left. Nice job, Utmel. Maybe someone will unearth a stash of these in the future and sell them like forgotten 19J6 tubes.
