Line out should read 50Ω to ground at same condition since there is a line out buffer resistor in its circuit
I measured the bias per your instruction = .127ma /126ma , and the R value is 11ohm (2x22ohm).
I also play music with headphone through the HP section, nice👍
Well, I am going to take a break, wait for the parts from Tea and finish the other DCSTB. The wife has been giving me the evil eye for not helping her planning with the upcoming trips.

Just out of curiosity, I also check the AC at the ac terminal - fully loaded with music playing : 16.68 -0-16.68.
That means you saw around 1.39V across R10s?I measured the bias per your instruction = .127ma /126ma , and the R value is 11ohm (2x22ohm).
Partial success! 😀
DCG3 is having a pulse (playing music), very much to my liking!
(And, after ca. 30' running idle, temperature on 1 mosfet was up ca. 14°C)
😎 VolumeControl is working as expected, controls volume, accepts IR-commands, correctly powers motor-pot, pot engages relays. (that's like a blue car <- pun to ZM)
i-select has issues though: 3 channels connected, but only channel 2 is putting signal through.
on channels 1 + 2, I believe to hear both the off-click and the on-click ("clicka"), switching to channel 3 I believe to hear only the "click" of one relay only, and it stays mute.
But at least I now am confident to have a much easier task than debug either DCG3 or the elma-jig...

I couldn't resist. Instead ad of debugging the i-select issue, I have an ear full of it... DCG3, after 90' burn-in, is already really really very nice! There's not the slightest noise, it is transparent, punchy, and it is oh so tempting to just crank it up. Makes me very happy, and it was well worth the blood, the sweat, and the tears 🙂
A bigbigbig thank you first and foremost to Salas + Tea-Bag as well as all sharing knowledge and good advices!

Guys, how do you mount talemas? They are supposed to be PCB mounted but what if I want to use them without?
And consensus is 25 VA is good enough but if it can fit- use 50 VA's? For 50va what would be a good place to buy shielded traffos if I may ask, please? Thanks

It might look a bit awkward, but since the Talemas have a M4 thread in the center, you could use this with a spacer of sort. I would then look a bit as it was floating...
Or you could plug them onto a protoboard and get this bolted to where it belongs...
Toroidy seem to be the transformer-maker of choice in europe (they're in Poland), but the shielded/potted tranformer of theirs are really big... (No idea for UK, RS or Mouser?)

What would be a better option- Chinese-origin R cores from Audiophonics or a better quality toroidal from Toroidy PL ?
me: Toroidal from Poland, I avoid CN when I can / have a choice...
but that's only me!
but that's only me!
Lid is closed!
As I managed to debug the silent inputs—a bad connection on the rotary switch and nothing fixed on the second previously muted input, all 3 are selectable.
I immediately swapped the previous pre (Wayne’s ba-18) very light-heatedly, because the newest working amp always is the best amp!
Even though for whatever reason the Headphone is still muted, but I just need a break and barely ever use HP, so that’s for another time!
Below some fotos…
the whole system is going to be installed in my showroom, once I finally can move into, but this is a completely different thing.

Looks good. Mine is smaller. Only one toroid unshielded. Absolute quiet👍
Maybe you can swap TKD and psu. Use an extension rod and keep the input cabeling short.

seems good...
Are you sure the shielded Tranformers aren't bigger? (They're not "supreme audio grade"?)
Also, did you take in account the heat sinking of the mosfets? You can use the bottom-plate, but PSU could come into the way...
What's the chassis' height?

potted, shielded as per my email enquiry. 8 cm dia. In worst-case scenario I ll get another enclosure
