And I would like a copy of the tracks so I can know what they are really supposed to sound like.
Joe Bonamassa live at The Royal Albert Hall:
You obviously don't understand the nature of the American Congress. What you call pathological dysfunction is instead the very essence of how our government works. It depends on there utimately being an agreement by the various parties to a solution amenable to all. It isn't always perfect or pretty, but there is no other system anywhere there is better or fairer.(Just watching how polarization in the American Congress is playing out in their pathological dysfunction... )
I hope those of you that are interesting in aftermarket power cords vs stock power cords can watch this video from Jay. Lots of good information here and Jay is honest and fair, he could live with stock power cords. Also he does not sell any of the brand of power cords in this video. He talks about what he hears from different brands of power cords. Hope you enjoy this video!

With which power amps? Purifi class-D mono blocks? IOW, its probably not just the power cord. Its the power cord and the amp combined. So its not helpful to only talk about the power cords. He talks about what he hears from different brands of power cords.
Mark, I don't ever remember him using those amps, he has been using Boulder. He has used aftermarket power cords on all his equipment not just amps. With which power amps? Purifi class-D mono blocks? Seeing where it´s coming from, I expected something ridiculous. If you want to talk about fused, this brand is very well liked. If fact if you don't know of this company you should check out all their fine products.

I was not disappointed.
Okay, but the YouTube videos you linked to were for power amps? Something else?...aftermarket power cords on all his equipment not just amps.
Apparently Boulder amps may be sensitive to power cords.**
That's not all:
"But nothing made by mere mortals is perfect, and every audio product, despite its designers' best intentions, "sounds." I think that the 2150's sound does have an overall character, and that that character is somewhat dry, and lacking the ultimate in musical flow. It reproduced precise attacks and ear-popping decays, but the sustains of notes between those attacks and decays were less than fully expressed."
"By comparison, my reference monoblocks, darTZeel's NHB-458s, don't grip quite as tightly as the Boulders, nor do they achieve the 2150s' levels of transparency and solidity. What they deliver so well, especially for solid-state amps, is music's liquidity and natural flow—due to their more generous sustain. You can't have everything."
Writing like that in a review is typically a veiled warning to make sure this thing is really what you want. Just sayin'

I Hope you enjoy this video!
It's really a shame that troll on a marketing mission is allowed by moderators to destroy thread that had promise to provide some answers.
Here is a video I enjoy much more. It contains more truth in any single second, than any entire video by Shunyata, AudioQuest or that sketchy Jay.
On the side note, I simply adore his Australian English. 🙂
But he does sell power conditioners and consulting services and uses youtube as his advertising channel.I hope those of you that are interesting in aftermarket power cords vs stock power cords can watch this video from Jay. Lots of good information here and Jay is honest and fair, he could live with stock power cords. Also he does not sell any of the brand of power cords in this video. Funny that...@Markw4
He also seems to conclude that with a super duper spiffy power conditioner (stay tuned for the next episode same bat time same bat channel...) the power cord choice is moot.
When Fremer reviews are being used to try and forward a theory you know that all hope has already been abandoned.Apparently Boulder amps may be sensitive to power cords.**

That´s honest.mhenschel My system will not solve the question.
Sadly it means your claims of hearing anything significative through it disappear, by own admission.
Talk about shooting your own foot.
That tells more about you than about them.I hear differences in power cords with every system that I have heard them in.
A broken thermometer can always show 100C, whether you put it in ice or boiling water.
You already put your own system out of the question.Friends systems, dealers systems, systems at audio shows. Its not just my system.
As of the others, WHO knows them?
The silliest "proof" anybody could imagine.I once asked the Nordost rep at a audio show which cable on theirs makes the most improvement in a system and he said the power cable, it makes the most difference.
You can´t make these things up.
Do you reread what you type afterwards?
Are you aware how silly it sounds?
No ..... maybe you don´t.
Don´t worry, you won´t.What do I win if power cords make a sound difference
And you know (or guess) it, that´s why you desperately avoid any tests, measurements, confirmations, even plain pictures.
ALL you do is brag hidden behind a keyboard, with ZERO proof.
Same here. It's really a shame that troll on a marketing mission is allowed by moderators to destroy thread that had promise to provide some answers.
I do not understand, AT ALL, how moderators allow and encourage Forum credibility DESTRUCTION by allowing and helping these stupid divisive 700 post threads, which to boot are always fuelled by the same 4 or 5 Trolls.
Me too.On the side note, I simply adore his Australian English. 🙂
FWIW I had to unlearn it, go figure.
Actually, "pathological dysfunction" pretty much hits the nail on the head (irrespective of parties.) IMO, the type of behavior that has been trending, and is happening now, is much what the country was founded to prevent. Not that this is - or has been - unique to the US; historically those that want power seek it and go to increasingly less moral means to keep it.You obviously don't understand the nature of the American Congress. What you call pathological dysfunction is instead the very essence of how our government works. It depends on there ultimately being an agreement by the various parties to a solution amenable to all. It isn't always perfect or pretty, but there is no other system anywhere there is better or fairer.
Now, back to the important things... audiophoolery and asshattery.

Sorry, don't have a clue to what you are referring - US resident here.@HalFoster
