As for pre-amp I strongly prefer (over pentodes) such kind of circuit (here in an RIAA implementation - Designed by H. Breitzke ). (I am an engineer too)jFETs over tubes? Done right can be really close to a good triode and certainly more reliable.
BSC can be dealt with many ways, of the say, a thousand speakers Chris & i did only 1 ever had a passive BSC ciruit and that was lost after switching from the surplus specials to SEAS FA22.
Design & execution is important.

Cute little amplifier. 2 Pentodes likey startved for B+. TPA3221 Class D amplifiers.
The updated model Aiyima T9 Pro is out now with various improvements, not the least of which is it's using the more powerful TPA3250.
I'm not a fan of all the needless visual bling but I'm OK with removing the tone controls in the new version, though I know many people like that.
On Aiyima's website the listed spec does agree with the red/green edit's below - T9=3221 Pro=3250

All right. Any idea ? Τhread is for ideas related to "MarkAudio CHP-90 Enclosure Options" although we've digressed a bit.The updated model Aiyima T9 Pro is out now with various improvements, not the least of which is it's using the more powerful TPA3250.

"Utsunomiya DIY Audio Meeting 11-2022"
Yesterday (November 12, 2022) I had an offline meeting with my audio friends.
I played my CHP-90 mica with my cell phone and AIYIMA B2D1957.
The room is 85m2 in size and the ceiling height is 4m, but the sound is loud enough.
This driver and box is very nice for small room and large room.

Nandappe what is that little enclosure on top of DDVP-12.5-ML ? Looks to me like HB-06 but maybe I'm wrong. What driver ? (I seeking also an enclosure for my 2,5" desktop speakers)"Utsunomiya DIY Audio Meeting 11-2022"

The box on top is "HB-03F" and the driver is a 1.5" E-Sound DXYD40N-22P-4A.
They are small but loud enough for near field.
Here is the thread.

Thank you . I think you uploaded a video on Youtube for them (I don't remember the amplifier that were used at that video)The box on top is "HB-03F" and the driver is a 1.5" E-Sound DXYD40N-22P-4A.

OK, here's my not small Fb = Fs MLTL designed for plenty of low end gain for bass guitar, kick drum 'whacks' or so it sims. Currently based on a 38"/96.52 cm ear height.Τhread is for ideas related to "MarkAudio CHP-90 Enclosure Options"

I opened the .txt file but I got lost somewhere with the numbers I'm reading. How does all this translate into shape?

My specialty is on automation (electronic circuits). With simulation programs ...... no. Not at all. "old school" fan. I put on paper the circuit that will do the job I want & then look for the right components to do the above. This is an MLTL that I can understand (implemented for Tang Band W4-1320 MLTL Design model.B 2D sketch)
Designed by "Leon C." and introduced here
(https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/mo...nd-W4-1320-MLTL-Design-modelB-2D-sketch?hl=en)
You propose GM an MLTL of 46 Lts volume ? (S1....4 = 647 cm2 x 71.1cm acoustic path length)

An MLTL would be a good solution! thanks GM! but whatever the shape, the 38" height is impossible for me as I'm looking for a desktop-size ://
For you Elias can be great if you want a floorstanding!
Btw... here my situation: after trying for a couple of days to equalize the CHP-90 to have a sound that I like, I finally decided to "just" use the tone controls of the amplifier and so... I ended up with a "bit more of bass and bit less of highs" setting and the sound is rather good yeah!!! Maybe not 100% satisfied but absolutely superior in terms of quality to my beloved RS100-4 in that small TL! but maybe missing that little magic, balance... I don't know!
Placebo? Nocebo? There is quite a lot of this in the audio field, isn't it?
What I'll make right now is just to get rid of all those clamps that are keeping the speakers together and finally glue the 18mm black mdf leaving a removable back panel to (eventually) still play a bit with filling material and port length.
The solidity of the box will certainly also help the bass and the general response, compared to the clamped volume!!
In the meantime, if after listening more I'm not fully convinced and/or something come out from Elias or LeifB60 or someone else that got this new drivers, I'll definitely pull the trigger for a pair MAOP10 and that's all! 🙂

But... now that you finally have them 😉 did you try put them in a box or wherever just to hear how they sound?
Any comment if you did it?

Have you please the time (if you are in mood) to explain me how to read that .txt file from GM ?GM box Volume (4,953+7,109+2,162) * 6,47 = 94.94 litre.
As I stated in my earlier post..... No I'll keep CHP-90. If I fail with Passive woofer I"ll try Nandappe's design (for one driver and TABAQ for the 2nd to compare between them). An MLTL would be a good solution! thanks GM! but whatever the shape, the 38" height is impossible for me as I'm looking for a desktop-size ://

MLTL box 94.94 litre
Driver is placed 49.53 from top of box.
Port is placed 21.62 cm from bottom and have area 285 cm2 and 1.8 cm deep.
Area is 647 cm2 from bottom to top of the box. Hornresp dont tell the width and depth. Only the height.
49.53cm+71.09cm+21.62cm=142.24cm
All measurements are internal.

What size would be right for you?
I can make a box in any volume.

How's your situation LeifB60?
Started to build something / decides what to build or not yet?
Practically nobody here seems to have both the CHP-90 and MAOPs/Alpairs... so your opinion/comment is really essential for me to decide if keep the CHP-90 or just upgrade to the MAOP (7 or 10).
For my ears... not enough bass and too sharp trebles... Is the MAOP different on this?
Edit: also nandappe have them both so would be great also your comment on... side by side CHP-90 / MAOP10
Wondering if maybe the MarkAudio "signature" is just not for me...
Thank you!!!

As I understand it, a lot depends on what equipment you have. Have listened to CHP-90 on youtube with nandapps box. I can't hear any harshness either with CHP-90 and A10.2Maop.
It is possible that it could be due to the electronics.
I don't hear any hardness here. Neither with Tube amplifier or ClassD.
