Hello Balu80.
Are you based in Hungary?
There is good direct Miflex distributor in Warsaw Poland and they can ship to HU
I would recommend bypass with 0.1uf and 0.01uf to top it off for finest detail and super precise harmonics
https://audiomiflex.pl/pl/p/KPCU-02/51
Send them e-mail and ask Dariusz , who runs this store what version of KPCU he can get you for 0.01uf ?
Good luck with your mods and sound.. and keep in mind that KCPU sounds very good out of the box than after say 10 hours of break-in goes thru phase of loosing it's top extension and than slowly with time until say 200 to 400hours comes to it's full lush and detailed super easy on the ear but rich and neutral character that is awesome , so be patient - i would run it non stop with FM radio or stream for as long as you can before critical listening and expectations ....

Hello!
Could you help me?
Maybe I placed my order wrong.
I accidentally ordered the Alumen Z-cup for 5.6, which should be the bass, and the Superior for 2.7 uF, which is the treble.
Should it have been the other way around?

Hi , i dont have the speakers here , I have done these for my brother in NJ .
What is the wire color is for the Tweeter + (positive) ....

Hi.Tweeter wire color is a brown-green.Hi , i dont have the speakers here , I have done these for my brother in NJ .
What is the wire color is for the Tweeter + (positive) ....
signal to the tweeter goes from 4.7ohm resistor to 2.7uf cap that is critical here - these 2 parts are critical .
Superior is a warmish sounding cap and should be a good match for this bright tweeter , than nice bypass sound clean up the sound even more
Not sure how much Alumen Z CAP costs but normally for the woofer you can use lower grade cap like Cross Cap from the same brand if you like it , cross cap is perfectly sufficient there and sounds very clean and clean .... so i would not over spend there and rather throw extra budget for a bypass on the tweeter , again I really love that Miflex KPCU 0.1uf it is not that expensive and than top it off with 0.01uf of high quality , could be silver oil type .
inductor on tweeter is an air core of decent guage and looks like part of notch filter so not so critical to improve as it drains to ground

Are we talking about the 4.7 for the tweeter and the 2.7 for the bass?signal to the tweeter goes from 4.7ohm resistor to 2.7uf cap that is critical here - these 2 parts are critical .

4,7 Superior, 2,7 Alumen.
Unfortunately, I spoiled the order from the store, but I have already corrected it. Unfortunately, I still entered the old bad order here. For the low, superior 5.6, for the high, the Alumen Z-cap goes, and probably a Miflex 0.1, and 001bypass. So can it be appropriate?signal to the tweeter goes from 4.7ohm resistor to 2.7uf cap that is critical here - these 2 parts are critical .

2.7uf is in the tweeter circuit along with 4.7ohm resistor ....
2.7uf should be a priority ,
Alumen Z cap is an aluminium foil cap where Miflex is pure copper foil so it explains why Miflex is so huge and heavy but 0.1uf KCPU should not be that huge and should work well together , just be patient with them for at least 200 - 300hrs and more
I'm not sure how Superior sounds as a woofer cap ?
let us know how it went ....

Hi CAPer!
I would be patient if I could buy Miflex. 😀 I must be explaining something wrong to Dariusz, because he is desperate to sell me more Miflex, even though I wrote him that I already bought the 2.7 uF Alumen Z. He said it was bad. I asked him why...
I am copying his letter.
I don't want to talk about Jantzen Alumen, but that's not a good solution.
They add too much of each other.
There is no formula for calculating the workaround.
My proposition.
MKP-10 2.2uf + KPCU-01 0.47uf = 2.67uf
You have a 2.7uf capacitor
little difference, perfect.
Do you understand why he wrote that?

It's funny ,🤣😉
Even that Dariusz maybe correct as he knows that Miflex KCPU is a solid copper foil capacitor , not a aluminum foil like Alumen .
I would try 0.1uf KCPU as bypass for 400hrs...it may sound fantastic with Alumen as combination .
And after some time , say year or two you may try 2.2uf KPAL and 0.47uf KPCU and 0.047uf KPCU ... These will be large and at that point you will need to build outboard crossover located outside of the box and that will make you use point to point part to part soldering and it in itself brings more clarity and detail over cheap PC board like stock crossover .... where you can than get rid off binding posts and plugs on cables and solder speaker cable directly to the first part in crossover.... all makes a difference.

Actually I really wrote to him because I didn't know whether to put KPCU 01 or KPCU02, since you also put 01 at the beginning of the forum, but you linked 02 for me 2 days ago.😆
No problem 🙂
By the way, 0.1 is out of stock for them..
0,082 or 0,15 can be substituted?

you can use other series like KPCU- 02 or 04 , 02 series has 0.01uf as well

... i did not use other damping material as my brother is using subwoofer and arias are crossed at 90Hz so most of lowest freq are not there ... but i did use damping sheets on other monitor speakers and it produced cleaner tighter lows almost like there was more lows also mids were clearer .... speakers would play louder with better control

Resistors should have been mills, path or mundorf mr20. Coils if upgraded should have gone for foils.
my focal are resting over GR research SXLS. without woofer Focals are not doing it for me.Hey aUDIOhl, where did you end up with 906 Speaker placement?
I finished experimenting as per the audiophiliac recommendation. Moved speakers away from front wall but wasn’t happy with tonality and sound became fatiguing. Progressively moved speakers closer to front wall and ended up where I started. Nine inches from the front wall and I enjoy non fatiguing music for hours.
I found Mills sound fuller almost warmer and less etched than Mundorf .Resistors should have been mills, path or mundorf mr20. Coils if upgraded should have gone for foils.
Arias tweeters maybe a better match to Mills...
