Don't count on that too much, number isn't stratospheric
first need to sort them , to see what I have and what is outcome of differences between them in different circuits
I got practically what's enough to justify dedicated construction efforts
As I said , if I have a word from Pras about any substantial quality, I'll share that

I'm sorry for the other people who sent me PM.

Hi
Seems like I’m late to the party once again...lol
Is there already an existing power amplifier design for these output devices.
Are the ones mentioned below the real thing?

Thanks
Eric

again, number I have is not worth calling "many" in any meaning
as personal favor from Yoshida - San, that is enormous, and that was main reason why I publicly did show my gratitude

yeah, even those "just four" are mountain of counter-favor I feel bound to climb

though, I feel from loooong ago that you can call me Duffy

HiYou could adapt most of the existing SIT/VFET amps out there to use these parts.
The transistormosfet shop is out of stock. Zen Mod has some parts, but he won't say how many. With a bit of luck, Pras will hopefully find a bunch for us...
I’ve never heard a SIT/VFET amp simply because the output devices are way too expensive for my taste and budget...these ones at least are affordable but of course now they are all gone..
BR,
Eric
TrueI doubt they are gone. I imagine we’ll see them again, though at higher prices.
It's supply and demand, and market forces at work.
One consolation is that there are still other SITs available at a price that is high, but still competitive with power triodes (45, 2A3, 300B, 211, 845 etc). And SITs don't wear out, whereas tubes have a limited operating life. Wait another year or so and perhaps there may not be any SITs left at any price (well, perhaps available from hoarders at very high prices).
Another consideration is that the output device (SIT) is only part of the cost of an amplifier. The majority of the cost is in the power supply, heatsink, and case.

good amp is good amp ..... whatever it is made of
there are zillion bad amps around, some of them even costing double dearly, made of most expensive parts

Yes.So SIT are that good that you’re able to compare them to a 2A3 ?
You could argue that an SIT is better than a power triode. Low-ish output impedance which means that you do not require an audio output transformer. You can make push-pull DC-coupled output stages with SITs.
