I got some 2sk2087c vfets on TaoBao last year. But cannot get its parameters. I have to give it a try.
I solder it on my 2sk182 follower test platform, results is:
Vds about 30v;
auto bias about -2.8v;
Ids about 1.5A;
Sounds very like sk182 on my speaker clone ProAc D15.
But I haven’t found any parameter about this fet except some test pictures on the web :bbs.hifidiy.net. It’s very cheaper than sk182/180.
Have anyone known some informations about it?
Thanks a lot!

Friday I told my wife and son, "I think between the amps I have and the next projects in the queue are all the amps I'll ever need". They laughed. Sunday I saw this thread, and I said "I need to take back what I said the other day, there are some more VFETs out there that I may want to try..." Even more laughter. And I just ordered some of these.
My educated guess that these may be originally TKS17(15)R52.

I am really surprised, that Tokin decided to register them with the JEITA (~1992), while they were still
developing new SITs after that with their typical in-house part numbers. Especially, since their last parts
with the JEITA registration were 2SK183 in the late '70s...
Being in business for ~25y, Tokin have produced a lot of different SITs for the various industry applications.
Someone may encounter their parts, for example, in AC power supplies:

I can't figure out how to login. I got a registration code on the phone, but nothing happens and it tells me to try again.
I ordered 10 pcs just as others did here. It will be interesting to extract gain and input capacitance.
Do you have a link from where you got them?I ordered 10 pcs just as others did here. It will be interesting to extract gain and input capacitance.

Yes, so I try it as a source follower. ThanksI ordered 10 pcs just as others did here. It will be interesting to extract gain and input capacitance.
manniraj, I ordered mine from Aliexpress:

I see the price going up since I bought mine yesterday.

Ben Mah, And it seems greedines of the seller who sold 4 packs still increasing.
Price was $32 four hours ago and now it's $50.
Not that I need it.. or I do?.. 🙄

P.S.: I would refrain from buying from the seller on Aliexpress that erase word "Tokin" on his photo. That is a very suspicious sign.
I was wondering where everybody was ordering them from as well. There's this listing https://m.yoycart.com/Product/15791501908/ but the picture shows Onsemi parts. Btw, it looks like the same photo in the AliExpress listing. I also came across this https://wakamatsu.co.jp/biz/products/detail.php?product_id=11030594 but I believe you need a Japanese address to order.
Seller probably had that listing for years, all of a sudden 4 different buyers. Seller is trying to see what the market will bare. If ppl wait a few days, seller will likely drop it back down. When that happens if ppl purchase at lower price it will set the market. Patience could be a benefit here.
Waiting will also give those who have parts coming to play with them a bit and have more data about this device.
AU$7.79 each? I bought 30 of them. Never mind the quality, feel the price.
That's enough to make five channels for a surround system, with a few over for spare parts.
