However, his eyeballs are believed to be stored in a safe deposit box in New York City, having reportedly been extracted during his autopsy in 1955!

Why? I have not dismissed any of his insights. I merely asked you if by now would he have resolved his own unanswered questions. I would defer to him in one rotation!

It's doubtful that, given more time, Einstein would have resolved his unanswered question - particularly as the brilliant scientific minds that have succeeded him have fared no better.

The edge of what we understand is the bound of what we need to survive.....Our brain was built that way.
Once survival has been secured, I would suggest that humans are freed to use their brains to look beyond the bounds of mere survival.

As an inveterate googler, I have discovered that 'ein stein' is German for 'one stone' so that 'Einstein' was originally a surname given to stoneworkers!

If you factor in the finite resources of the planet, and it’s eventual lifetime limit, looking at those “bounds beyond mere survival” will eventually become REQUIRED for survival. We have to get off this rock, or at the very least not leave everyone in the same spot (with a big red X on it) - and that will require knowledge of physics far beyond what is known today. Keep enquiring.
All this ”autopilot”, having everything done for you these days is a recipe for eventual disaster. Smart phones make stupid people, and stupid people never figure out how to survive when the environment no longer permits it.

Human society is becoming more and more dependent on the internet for everything from banking to medical care.
It may all be very convenient for consumers and suppliers right now, but if/when the internet massively fails our very survival will be threatened.
About life elsewhere. I just wonder what the point is of life in the universe. To me it all seems like an unfortunate accident.
