Hello,
The new page looks great and readability has improved 🙂
However some features from the old page have gone missing. One of them is the selectable number of posts per page. If that can not be changed easily please set the number to 50 post per page as a good compromise. 25 post per page is to little for longer threads.
Another missing nice-to-have feature is the "similar threads" suggestions at the bottom of the page.
Please hav a look at these issues, thank you...

Overall, I think the new platform looks really slick. On my laptop, everything is perfect.
I find the new mobile look a little less functional on my Samsung S8. It still looks really nice, but I preferred simple text layout of the old format. Its a little more work to scroll through the threads, and it seems like they are organized differently on the splash page?
That aside, I definitely feel the form looks nicer now. Good job!

I miss that the old multi-quote function would put a red mark on a post so I could get back to it. The best thing is it wouldn't take me away from the place in the thread I was reading, like the reply button does presently.
On my desktop PC I can see who posted latest in a thread and when. But this info is not to be found on a mobile device. Is it possible to add? helps a lot so I can avoid certain posters.
Confirmed. I can't recall what was last said about that though it is known that those columns aren't in mobile view.
I'd add that this subforum has been created for specific issues, one issue per thread.

Example?I see other XF2 sites with the +quote button, so it can be done.
This is going to be fixed so you see the latest poster rather than the OP on mobile. On my desktop PC I can see who posted latest in a thread and when. But this info is not to be found on a mobile device. Is it possible to add? helps a lot so I can avoid certain posters.
Anyone noticing downloading or viewing attachments is really slow, I'm seeing about 30Kbps max.
I've tried all the normal processes of elimination.
This image from Post your Solid State pics here takes about 30seconds (982Kb) to download - https://www.diyaudio.com/community/attachments/hawk-a18-testbed-jpg.1000245/

Yes, that's the same symptom albeit of a inline image, that image took about 28secs (928Kb) to load.
Btw, it's not browser related, I downloaded an image via a external program and it takes the same time to download.
It appears to be server related, almost like there is some type of bandwidth limiting in place.
I can't seem to pull more than about 30Kbps for attachments, this includes files like pdf's.

MultiQuote works fine?? Just that you don't pre-select, you scroll-up and select part of other message(s). (Yes, this fails if you want to go >20 posts into the past....)
These files download in under 3 seconds, even here in the woods of Maine. I do not know where Indiglo is.

I snapped one yesterday..

Have we all noticed that, if you hover/click the member-name, then click the location (if any), the forum makes a very good guess on Google Maps? Even for some very obscure islands. (OK, it can't parse mkane77g's location.)reinstating place of origin flags
Hi Forum Team,
I am trying to figure out how to stop getting emails every time someone posts in a watched thread. Snip of my settings is below. What should I do?
Also, it is not clear what the first option does, "Receive news and update emails." I have it unchecked purely because I was trying it out as a way to stop the thread update emails. But I do want to receive store updates and other general updates that Jason and the team sends out.
I have to say that posting, posting from a phone, attaching images, pretty much all things related to posting are a breeze. I am really enjoying the new forum. Thanks for the hard work!

That massive list of permissions is frightening. I ended up turning almost all of it off; wished for a "Do All" button instead of aggravating my mouse finger.I am trying to figure out...
