This has probably been asked and adressed many times before, but is someone still looking into the missing pictures in the older threads?

I went to read this:
https:www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/burning-amplifier-ba-3.194809/
from Nelson earlier today, but it really makes no sense without the pictures.

Sorry for the disturbance.
Please post any broken links here: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/broken-links.380497/ however thanks for the bug report, I have added this to that thread.

When scrolling down the main page and I find a thread i wanna read, after i have read the thread I hit the backbutton
and it doesnt go back to where I was reading the first page,I have to manualy search for the place I was before.
Could this be fixed?

Edit: It is especialy when I have pressed the "Load more " button.
Not sure about that, but this perhaps ties in with the issue of visited links not changing after pressing back. I've created a new issue to track and investigate this here, but I have a feeling it will likely not be possible and the solution at least in the short term is "right click -> open new tab" so you don't destroy your original, dynamically-front-end-loaded front page contents after using the "load more" button. If you can offer an example of any dynamic or "infinite scroll" style website where the back button works like this let me know. I realize this is a new situation because the old front page wasn't dynamic.

This is going to be a dumb question…
Can someone please explain to me what the “User Posts” and “Commercial” filters are for on the home page and why there are red numbers sometimes for those, but not for”Threads”?
I can’t figure out the rationale or why the resulting lists are different. Well, I understand what “Commercial” means, but what is the significance of “User Posts”?
I’ve tried searching for an explanation, but haven’t found anything.

Okay, the new site with the Classic Theme has grown on me. Even the mobile view is usable.

There's still the issue with the small number of posts per page, which apparently can't be resolved easily.

And this brings me to the next issue: in the desktop version (regular site as accessed on a PC) there's a page index or whatever it's called (1 2 3 Next >>>) both at the top and the bottom of the page. On mobile view it's only at the bottom. With the limited number of posts per page I have to turn pages often, and it's a real pain to have to scroll down to the bottom every time I want to jump between pages.

Maybe we can get a page index top and bottom also for mobile view?

It's a bug, going to be fixed. Should be "All", "Non-Commercial", "Commercial" or similar.

This is being tracked here: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/go-to-last-post-button-missing-atf-on-mobile.380802/

..and page numbers at the top of search results.
Good call. Now tracked here: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/pagination-missing-at-top-of-search-results.381451/

The front page doesn’t have pages; it has a news feed and a load more button… This makes it hard to implement pagination, since the number of posts are constantly changing.
There's pagination at the top, so there could be at the bottom, but it does get messy with the "Load more posts" stuff. Pagination at the bottom worked a lot better when we had 20 posts. Now there is 80, I think it's debatable whether you would want to click to a new page or "load more".

An interesting debate, and I'll dare say it will be considered when we do the full review of aesthetics. Included in this would be the "list/card/set as default" buttons as well. I'd like to know if anyone is using the card layout. I don't see it fitting our "long thread" style of in depth discussion. I think it's more suited to Reddit-style ever changing topics.

As the cards show content from the fist post I’d think it would suit threads that typically stay on topic, as is usually the case here. I think it’s great for discovery as one can see a glimpse and expand to the full first post of a thread without leaving that page. To me it’s a far better way to see what a thread is about without having to open it.

I don’t happen to be using it ATM as I’ve that page setup to show unread subscribes threads.

I'm looking forward to seeing some hard stats on how much it's being used. They're not being collected at the moment, but will be as part of: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/...s-not-persist-long-enough.380603/post-6889233

Why has the “like” functionality been disabled? I read a post yesterday and thought, “hey, I can finally ‘like’ something here…”. Nope.
Much has been discussed already, but you can comment here: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/like-buttons.380500/
