Wow! Beautiful in every way. Thanks for posting this, Chris! I'm ashamed to say that I had not heard of this great player, but I will head down the rabbit hole after work tonight. My girlfriend is flying out for work, so I will spend an uninterrupted evening with Lucas, my recliner, and a pair of horns! Yee to the hah! Glenn.
I've been watching the 2021 Green Man Festival Sessions. There are a lot of good young groups here, but this one really got me going: Chaise Longue by Wet Leg.

These were amongst my son's favourites:
Anastacia - Sick And Tired
(Dil Laa liya be-parwa de naal)
Anastacia - Welcome To My Truth
I like these very much as well.

Jeff; watched the delightful little flick “Yesterday” a few weeks back with my son and daughter-in-law, and as he’s a bit of a Beatles fan, it brought up the conversation as to “so, which is your favourite album of theirs, dad?”
Bit of a third rail that question is, but I mentioned probably that as major pivot points in the trajectory their chemically enhanced creativity, “ probably Rubber Soul and Revolver?”

Yeah, they are both great albums. Perhaps Revolver is a little more bong worthy.😀

Erik Satie - Gnossiennes 1-6 - YouTube
Quote from comments by Graham:
"I'm not sure if anyone will understand what I'm trying to say, but I find Gnossiennes absolutely exhausting to listen to. Within the space of just a few notes, Erik Satie takes me on a rollercoaster ride of constantly changing emotions - happy to sad, hopeful to hopeless, and even beautiful to ugly. I think maybe his music is a window into his troubled mind. A troubled genius."
Despite of my troubled english (and mind) I completely agree with him.
Perhaps I would rather use word thrillful, than exhausting.
But yes, as it is thrillful, it is exhausting at the same time.

I seem to recall excerpt from an interview with either John or Paul where it was noted that Rubber Soul was their Mari album, and Revolver (and almost certainly MMT & SPLHCB?) had help from Lucy.
