Not much of any interest in my glass for a number of months now, but this afternoon/early evening, I'm testing out escape velocity. 10% abv triple IPA. These alcohol levels are crazy for someone who was brewing back in the 80s when the max was somewhere around 7-8% with actual ale and lager yeasts. That was in the research triangle park area where we had the highest concentration of PhDs and PhD candidates of any club I'd ever heard of.

And now hazy is good? We spent a LOT of effort to keep haze OUT of beers.

Usually, good old Canadian beer, Molsons or Moosehead.
Most unusual was the Bourbon County Stout brought by a friend for a party.
Has quite a kick at 15%, if you can get by the sweet taste and the price. The 4-pack was $35 in 2012.
Empties are for sale on Ebay,,,, go figure.
