Would you need a landbase platform to generate a 3D hologram? A lot of the Naval sightings happen over water in the middle of an ocean.
It seems improbable anyone would create such a high tech expensive charade. It seems like something a conspiracy theorist might dream up.

Of course it can be, but a lot of the Naval sightings happened in restricted area in which no unknown aircrafts or ocean vessels are allowed.

I wonder how far Japanese firm Aerial Burton have advanced their pulsed laser technology?
I haven't found any recent information on their progress.
The pulsed laser ionizes the molecules at specific spots in the air, which results in the flashes of light that make up each point in the aerial image.

Not often, as soon as somebody does a better, more thorough or more accurate analysis the original proposal is dead in the water, you can’t really debunk better math, or analysis that is more complete because it removes simplifying assumptions and throws out conclusions that no longer work.
