Sounds like the same stuff we have here.
If you're interested in how easy it is to grift off the stupid here in the US of A then you might check out this Hovind character. I warn you though, if you listen to any of his lectures it could trigger late onset autism.

Still no luck with the dino but I did just get a snake off ebay.
Pussviper? 😀
Eddie, we are your neighbours to the north. We are your cousins, brothers and friends. Most of our trade is with you, most of your trade is with us. Our borders are undefended and we cross into one another's country far more than any other. We are taught about America in school, we watch American TV.If you're interested in <large snip> the US of A
Canadians know as much about the US as the US does. We depend on each other more than most persons even realize and from our side of the border, we wouldn't want that with any other country. 🙂
On top of that, we like to deliver a big ol' can of whoop a$$ every chance we get in sports. It doesn't happen that often so the thrill never wears off. Go Canada

On the flip side, Americans don't know squat about Canada, except it's where yellow bellied traitors defect to. 😀 (If I were 15 years younger I'd be one of them 😱.)
On the real tip, I was taught a bunch of straight up lies about Canada in grammar and high school. Then I visited Canada and found out it was actually a developed country! 😎 (Not far from the truth)

I was gonna say I don’t recall ever being taught much about Canada except they were responsible for the dreaded ‘Hawaiian pizza’ 😀
btw Cal, your new snake ate the cat! 😱

Uh ya, about that...
Rick Mercer is a Canadian celebrity that likes satire and poking fun at things. In this case it's your fellow citizens. Take a look.

Hint: Saskatchewan is a landlocked Canadian province.
Tim Horton's is a coffee shop. It is Canada's largest quick-service restaurant chain, with 4,846 restaurants in 14 countries. Named after, and founded by, a hockey player. A double double means two cream, two sugar.
Jean Chretien was a Canadian Prime Minister and as white as they come.
You get the idea. There's quite a number of these.

Mike Huckabee! That's not fair! Prime Minister Tim Horton? How embarrassing.
I thought it was going to be like Jaywalking, but he was talking to college professors and they were ignorant! Now I'm even more embarrassed.

Yeah, but the inventor was Greek so you can blame them.
In Australia we were not formally educated in the cultures of other countries. All I ever learned about Canada was from 1960s TV. They have singing mounties and bears, and people trudge around the Yukon doing poinless things, is that right?
On the real tip, US education treats Canada as a footnote. Even when I went to school (1960s-70s) it was very much like the US was Michael Jackson, and the rest of the world was Germaine Jackson... it promoted "American Exceptionalism" (yuk) and Manifest Destiny (yuk) as if they were facts. In other words, propaganda. When I was say 10, I had no idea what was up in Canada, but I had a vague notion of perpetual winter and igloo cities. I'm not exaggerating. They really teach you that Canada is very inferior to the US.
While you're chuckling at Jaywalking, remember that our own President didn't know that Puerto Rico was part of the US (true story no joke!).
I'll bet Tim Horton knows that Puerto Rico is part of the US. 😀 You're in good hands Canada!

Yup, that pretty much sums it up.They have singing mounties and bears, and people trudge around the Yukon doing poinless things, is that right?

Hey, this is not entirely well known, although I did actually know that. Most Australians don't know that we have a place called Jervis Bay Territory on the mainland that is governed separately. It's a military base so they don't really advertise its existence.

He might have, before he died 50 years ago, not sure.I'll bet Tim Horton knows that Puerto Rico is part of the US.
Allstate wants you to think so.You're in good hands Canada!

He was the freaking President! He's supposed to know that stuff before he makes himself look stupid on live TV. How embarrassing.

To be fair, I did know that Tim Horton's is a coffee shop. It was the first coffee shop you see as soon as you cross the border. I always stopped there.
I always wanted a T shirt with a whimsical Canadian beaver on it. I never went anywhere touristy (or I guess I never went in the tourist shops because I did visit Niagra Falls).
You'll find those in any evening 'dance' establishment. As far as them ending up on a T-shirt, well I either don't understand, or I can't type that kind of stuff here.whimsical Canadian beaver
