Yeah, from Parts Express. When I talked to Cinemag, I asked about some recommendations from his experience with power xformers -- Avel Lindberg was brought up as a quality brand. Kind of wish they had 300 or 400VA for 18V, but it does seem like 250VA per channel should still have plenty of headroom.
I've also read from several different forum members that the quality of the xformer seemed to matter just as much, if not more, than the size/power rating (so long as they weren't bottlenecking).
If anyone in the US is anxious about getting a pair of the CINEMAG input transformers I have four that might not ever get used.

My CineMag CMOQ-4HPC tranformers arrived today.
I'm collecting a nice set of components so it'll soon be time to start assembly.
First I want to finish the metalwork for the chassis so I can sent the main parts out to be anodised - that'll take a couple of weeks to be completed so plenty of time to wield the soldering iron while I'm waiting.

I think I will begin with the four sweetly SINGING SERBIANs first and then try the other later on.

I know you expressed with no uncertainty that you did not like idea of two secondaries in parallel - can one surmise you do not have the same concern for secondaries in series?
This is more of a concern with the SINGING BUSH supply but I thought I would tag along with another power transformer question.

ZM is chicken, thinking that secondaries are identical ( allowing simple paralleling) only if being wound in bifilar fashion
problem - sec with even smidge lower voltage will act as load to other one
if not, each sec to dedicated diode bridge, then paralleling after the bridges; voila! everything OK, secs happy to share load and being properly isolated
for secs in series ....... no biggie - current path is one and same

You want some porn? I've now fnished the metalwork for my SissySIT chassis - I now have to dismantle it and take it to be anodised.

I have thought about either a transparent or mirrored acrylic front panel but I'm leaning towards wood because I would like to shape it to continue the curve of the heatsink profile.
