I happened to buy myself a new camera, a Canon EOS M50. Felt it was time for a slight upgrade.
As a nice surprise, the M50 has an electronic viewfinder; nice to have in heavy sunlight.

A second tube radio chassis (complete), similar to one I've already got, with a push-pull EL41 output stage. Planning to turn them into a pair of monoblocks, and maybe a preamp.

Hopefully they're similar enough in terms of the iron etc to be able to match up. Fingers crossed!

HP Reverb G2 VR goggles. At least they arrived today. Too bad they were DOA. Some defect in the right lens/panel. I had a taste a couple weeks ago with another brand and VR raises the bar significantly with flight simming. Yeah, I've gone back down the simming rabbit hole with the release of FS2020 last year. It's a blast.

I went tot he Greeneville TN Ham Fest and paid $5 to get in.

There was a big box of tubes on one table with a sign that said take one or two but don't be a pig.

So I dug through it and picked out a 6SL7 and a 6SN7, both were not in boxes. Got home and tested them and they both look good.
