And are you happy....? Have you compared it to any other amp?

Yes, due to covid-19 restrictions, I can only leave my 60.000 inhabitants' city for work or essential shopping reasons.
I waited for a while before writing this review.
I had filed the class D with vintage system of the german brand Gundig, brand I'm still proud of compared to other more renowned brands.
I've listened to several low-cost D-classes, the best of which was the Elipson MC1 that is made up of IcePower 125 ASX2 modules, none of those thrilled me like the vintage AB class.
According to my small, limited and subjective experience, I expected the usual class D sound from this amplifier but instead I had to change my mind.
The sound that comes out is of a medium range a little back at low volume the remedy is to raise the volume and the voices are all forward so quite good and detailed. The high end is detailed and full of air between the instrument and with a good brilliance, the cymbals have a good texture without artificial metal effect sounds, the low end at first seemed soft but listenable, then after a few rounds of listenings it became fast and controlled.
The comparison was also made with a Pioneer SA9900, Dynaco of which I don't remember the model.
As soon as I have some time, I will make a comparison with some high-end tube amps.

Well, usualy this shop has a good reputation, which is a positive.

I can't comment on these OPA627 being original or not, but one thing that could (perhaps?) explain the lowish price is that they mention used/refurbished OPA627...

Still very low price though, as Vunce mentioned... who knows...

Just thinking out loud

Hi Nerone,
I don’t know how these could possibly be genuine given the super cheap price. A single OPA627 in smd package is approximately $25. Those modules have a pair of opamps for approximately $8 total

Be careful ;)

Hello Vunce,

as already mentioned here, Audiophonics has a good reputation and has not had any problems until today ....
You're right about the low price ...
If I look elsewhere, the prices are higher.

For example Single-to-Dual Op Amp Adapter - BrownDog Adapters - 031101A ..

Since it costs 59.10 dollars ......
The difference is of course very big ...

But a try is worth it for the low price .... :) :)

Ciao and have a nice day

Maybe I buy from Audioponics, in my shopping list to upgrade the amplifier I chose these:
POT ALPS RK27 10K
Potentiometer ALPS stereo RK27 high quality 10 Kohm - Audiophonics

OPA627
BURR BROWN OPA627 Dual OPA with Support (Unit) - Audiophonics

OPA1612
OPA1612 Dual OPA DIP8 (Unit) - Audiophonics

LM4562
TI LM4562NA/NOPB Dual Operational Amplifier OPA DIP8 (Unit) - Audiophonics

Do I need to add anything else?
Thanks.

Nerone,

for the low price I ordered it and will test it ... According to users who have already ordered it, the opa627 should be good ...

Ciao and have a nice day

Salvation ! i have a svs pb 1000! but it's an active subwofer. It strengthens my HIGLhAND speakers.
It goes down to 24 Hz.
it sends !!!

I have to agree with you ... the Russian post is like the Italian post ... wait, wait and wait .....:D:D

I disagree with the Italian post office, my amplifier was shipped on February 24th, it arrived at the Russian customs on March 3rd, after which I have no more news about the shipment tracking.
On March 20 it arrived at Malpensa customs, on March 23 delivered, at 13:00 it was already connected to my speakers.
So if the math is not an opinion, the Italian post office took 3 days to deliver. :)

Thanks for your intervention, this is good news if it is refurbished products, it should justify the low price.
Congratulations on your contribution in the 3d that I am following with interest on how to improve Ayima A04 :)
