Pictures of your diy Pass amplifier

Thanks Soundhappy. If no corona I would have been for holiday this week in Camarque with the family.
Maybe even make a visit to Montpellier...
But we had to cancel everything

Oh Walter W yes 90% of usual activities are blocked all around.
From 11 may we be a little more free to go outside (with obligatory individual protections)
but virus emergency state is hold to July and we don't know what happen after....??
If You visit Montpellier I can't promise, but we can try maybe next year?
Camargue have nice weather and is a very beautiful place :)
Good food and drink in the reastaurants as well
Excellent travel destination choice :house:
Me too I am sad but let's keep positive attitude and we do the best possible.
Meantime, I study electronic knowledge book's about amplifiers and speakers..
Kind regards from France

B1 Korg Triode

Hi everybody,

I have already published on "B1 Korg Triode" thread, I hope not to violate the forum rules by publishing on two threads. If this is so, I kindly ask the moderators to notify me and I will cancel everything.
This is the first DIY project that I managed to complete and I am truly very happy!
I'm happy to share with you some pictures of the result and the processing steps.

Cheers and enjoy the sound!

Mauro

Lovely work RM, I like that you isolate each section of the amp. I found this is very helpful in not having to chance a hum or buzz. Well, other than my single malt one. :)

Hi thompsontechs,
I tell you that with my friend who owns the amplifier, we spent about half an hour with our ears on the speakers, trying to understand if there was any uhmm or buzz ... and neither of them heard anything, maybe a tinnitus, given the age! Single malt? Be careful, i am also a homebrewer!

Many Thanks!

My first build had a tad, but not enough to go chasing it, since then I have taken a sectional approach and had no issues at all.

Tullamore Dew Caribbean Rum Cask Finish....

That's a fantastic looking build! Very tidy and well thought out.

Two questions:
  1. I considered making my Korg NuTube visible in a way similar to this. I was concerned that the wire leads may cause some issue. You haven't noticed any? Any tips or observations you could share?
  2. In the second to the last pic in the first post - You seem to be cleaning a part with electrolysis. What part is that in the build?
