spray contact adhesive and staples - using an electrical or air powered stapler
i don't have that type of stapler 🙁
But i can manage contact adhesive(Dendrite) & small nails.
If you insert rolls of fibreglass insulation into your enclosure (I assume it is a sealed enclosure - not reflex) then the fibreglass will be self-supporting.Edit- i just want to make my enclosure bigger by stuffing.
Unfortunately everything is available here in my city except fiberglass

Fiberglass is smiling at me from 100km away 🙁

Do you think polyester fibre is as effective as fibreglass?BAF wadding (polyester fibre) is also self supporting when rolled up.
For sealed enclosure of course.
i want to reduce QTC from 1 .
There are different densities of fibreglass and probably different densities of polyester fibre, so it is not possible to make a direct comparison as to effectiveness.
Polyester fibre is the modern absorbent of choice. It should be rolled up loosely and the amount adjusted until the bass response sounds best by ear.

Fiberglass is not the end all. It has some good qualities it's true but there are better items/combos to use. It's popular because it's readily available and inexpensive in many places people make speakers.
I noticed you have changed to Kolkata. I was hoping you were, for access to materials.

Oh! alright then. Polyester fiber roll & polyfill (pillow stuff) is same thing but in different form isn't it?

Actually i live in a small town, kolkata city is 100km away from here, West bengal is our state among 29 other states of india. Fiberglass is available in kolkata. It's a famous city of india. Sorry for my horrible English..
Polyfill, Cotton batting is available here but i don't know if it is as much effective as fibreglass. Let's see.
Just use Polyfil, you are beginning to overthink this IMO.
The pillows I have opened contained sheets of the stuff. 🙂

Alright then 🙂
Rock wool is better and not so itchy. You can get it at construction depos, where drywall is sold. Stuffing is good for closed box and horn, but not useful for bass reflex or damping plywood/MDF wall vibrations.
Yes, info is readily available even if one has not visited, as I hope to one day.West bengal is our state among 29 other states of india. Fiberglass is available in kolkata. It's a famous city of india. Sorry for my horrible English..
The state of West Bengal, home of Kolkata, once known as Calcutta to westerners, is about 10 million people and is well known to the world. Park Street, the street food and the Knight Riders come to mind. Not to mention your architecture and other cultural items. 🙂
But I digress.
Your horrible English is as good as many native speakers.

thnks! i heard about rockwool.
i must say again, i am in love with this forum.
BAF is Bonded Acetate Fibre, not polyester.BAF wadding (polyester fibre) is also self supporting when rolled up.

Edit-as a stuffing material.
