Jazid, indeed the last tweeks can be easily implemented as shown on the pictures. Simply add the few caps under the pcb, and don't mount the few parts that are not doing anything... Simple as that.
And yes, the next batch will have these last tweeks implemented.
BTW since Dec 10th I was trying to reach Star Cruiser, and as per his request I send a Paypal invoice to be paid. He never got back to me, so his kit, the last of the first batch is still available...

Hi SB 🙂
Since I´ve not started yet, I´d be interrested in the updated doc´s..
Could you maybe e-mail them to me?
Best regards
Hasse !!
Sylvian great news on the tweaks, they make compensating the shunt very easy, and missing g the 2sk170 on the top will save people time and money.
For the first batch buyers, don't worry, I'll resend the new updated docs to all of them, starting tomorrow. Just have to sleep some time 😉
BTW Star Cruiser kit had been sold and shipped to LATB

Hi. A builder mentionned to me a reference in the assembly guide to small smd caps to put under the pcb. The original pcb has provision for RIAA through holes type, or smd on the top, or smaller smd caps on the bottom. Mine has just the two types of pads on the top (through holes and C1206 size). I prefered not to have to work with these very small smd caps on the bottom.
The assembly guide was done by someone else, not me, so I don't have the source version, and cannot change it. Please ignore reference to the small smd caps on the back of the pcb.
My Parts List mentions only the through holes caps or the large C1206, that you install on the pcb top. I used the C1206 myself.
Sorry for the confusion

Completed the update docs with the latest mods for the first batch of pcb, including a new PCB interconnect diagram. I'm starting to send it to the first batch buyers.
I should be done in about an hour.
Please check your email.
Thanks

Hi. Still no reply from from 2 of the buyers. I sent payment reminder email.
Will place the pcb order next week, but with the coronavirus, i don't know what will be the impact on the delivery time.
Thanks

Hi looking at parts on the BOM and nobody (mouser, digikey etc) seems to stock the Amveco TE70045-ND tranformers anymore, have you an alternative?
Thanks 🙂
Thanks 🙂
The transfo is still available under a different manufacturer name. You can use Talema 70045K from Digikey (1295-1045-ND) or Amgis L01-6345 (Digikey TE2249-ND) , same transfo...
and BTW since almost everyone paid, I placed the pcb order yesterday...
