Develop ultra capacitor power supply and LiFePO4 battery power supply

My Fifo is safe to be fed with 3.3V rather than 5V without problem. On board LDO will be bypassed automatically if the drop voltage is less than 0.3V.

For clock board, is also OK, but to reach best possible sound quality, I would suggest remove or bypass on board LDOs if you feed it with 3.3V battery rails.

Does it only follow voltage from J1 and J2 but not from J3 and J4? I’m wondering if I can trust or not low voltage shield when J3 and J4 have much more load than J1 and J2?

Would it be possible to connect two batteries parallel for example to bt2 without having issues with charging?
 
Why is the frequency difference between the two scenarios so big? Beautify the UC data?

It is because that ultra capacitor is a kind of passive power supply while LT3042 is an active feedback controlled regulator.

I used 1.7mohm ERS super capacitors for the test, and the measurement location was very closed to them. It could be worse if you use smaller wire. Please keep in mind that with 1A demand current, wires with total 10mohm resistance will generate 10mV ripple over the voltage rail. So bigger and shorter wire would be always very important for the ultra capacitor power supply.

I am already past using the raspberry pi, the Allo usbridge sig is a clearly better source for us demanding streamer junks.
Will it work for the usbridge?

I am also much more interested in a ultracap board for the battery supply. The battery supply with such a board will be a very flexible power supply for a lot of streamers, dacs and clock units (like the Andrea Mori ones)

So please feed the people what they need :D

I see you are using the 10F Maxwell caps, they have a 75mohm impedance; two stacked will add up to 150mohm impedance.
The big Caps you have used have an impedance of 1,9mohm (3,8mohm in parallel). I understand that these do not fit on a hat board but is this solution better than the low impedance caps with wire leads to the battery supply?
