P3A layout
i would prefer option 1.
"On this amp input ground is separate from PSU ground and is conneced via 2 diodes (D6/D7 ) and a resistor (R23).
Unless that resistor R23 is connected, your input ground will have no connection to PSU. This will lead to lot of trouble.

In my current AX14 boards I have the D6/7 and R23 installed and soldered to the board. Hence as per your quote above the input signal ground is now in connection with the PSU ground. This is the case on each of the amp boards and I am powering each amp board with a separate CRC PSU and each PSU board is being powered by independent secondary winding transformer. So that resistor R23 is indeed connected and still leading to lots of hum and I tried all options like taking the RCA ground (3 wires - 1wire to psu ground, 1 wire to chassis, 1 wire to the signal input and then PSU ground to the speaker protection ground input from each psu for each channel) and with these 3 wires.
You can draw up a layout on exactly how its built.
I think, you should build it module by module. i.e. just build a single channel with psu and 1 amp pcb, short inputs and see if there is hum on that channel.
Add speaker protect and see if there is hum... so on and so forth.

I am not sure if you should connect both psu grounds together, if you say you have 4 independant secondaries.
There is a guideline document posted by hifisonix site. that will help you.

Thanks Prasi, I will go through this document by Bonsai. I am using the bandol member who designed the BabyHue boards and then he also designed a small CRC psu boards for the class AB amps and shared the gerber files. I am using the same CRC psu boards for my amp build.

hi mr mile a made ax17 with my pcb design ...i chek with your schematic every thing be ok...i use 1k pot and c6 100u....and when i conect 50-0-50 power i have 24 volt in out pot.....i see lastpost that you say c6 replace 1000uf.....and r21 replace to 1/2k...are there any part that most be replace؟
see my pcb in this page on instagram: ashkan.audio
The MESS of cable wiring ...sorry i m beginner
how about sound sir???
protect ne555 with zobel
Hi dear apex I have the protect ne555 with zobel, but the PRO option is activated with mv at the output when the amplifier volume is increased. the protection dc works perfect but the pro is the problem I can leave it disabled without connecting but if it has the option it would be good to leave it active some modification so that it is not so sencible

help abou apex ax17
i made apex ax 17 in this pcb:
https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/att...514-100w-ultimate-fidelity-amplifier-ax19-jpg
now i read in komitrat.ru that (c10+r29) most be removed ...and R21 replace with 1/2k or 1/8k.....and c6 replace with 1000uf/16v....and R13 replace with 560R.
mr mile what your idea?
please help me.

AX17 works,it was proven-you should search for an error on your PCB.
tnx ...instead of bc550/560 i use bc556/bc546
hiok, almost done...
for testing I will use "bulb tester"
It is same as testing AX14?
And for bias
2 volt on 100nF or 15 mV on 0R33? What is the ideal voltage there?
I will supply 32v from transformer or better with lower voltage first?
I make 2 AX17 with different transistor, hope that not any problem happen 🙂
Regards
i almost use your pcb with afew change ....i have in output 48v dc!!!!!! i use 50-0-50 psu....what your exprience abut ax17?
Hi everyone.
Has someone try to make AA14 (AX14) dc-servo controled feedback ? I don't like at all that 100μF electrolytic capacitor. Mr. prasi ? APEX ?

put pcb details in your post. maybe you only need to connect input GND with psu GND.

means that connect input ground(SGND) to ground psu.
muy linda página amigos, una consulta ,alguien tendra los pdf del APEX BX22 AMPLIFIER ? gracias , yo recién empiezo con esto de los amplificadores.

Thank you.

maybe, yes. but we don't know until you post a PCB documents...
