If not already familiar with them, you might want to check out “the 2 Cellos”. They cover a very wide range of genres with both virtuosity and unabashed joy that is palpable even on the smallest of screens.
Considering what I’ve heard of Ornette Coleman or Rahsaan Kirk’s repertoire, there’s gotta be something there that could fit within the broad category of “jazz”
 
Abdul Wadud is another jazz cellist of note. You usually find him paired with Julius Hemphill and other alumni of the Black Artists Group out of St. Louis. Try Hemphill's Dogon A.D. for starters. It's an amazing album, and Hemphill's first as a leader.
