Where is the schematic for 555 protect?

Any thoughts on the MJE340/350 vs KSA1831/C3503 substitution question?
KSA1831/C3503 are much better, even you can reduce the compensation to get more slew rate.

Thanks for reply - any chance you could elaborate why? Looking at spec sheets the MJE parts seems to take more CE voltage and current and higher wattage part with most other specs seeming to be very similar? I’m confused on what make the KSA/C parts so much better.

Thank you - looking at those graphs it makes sense now.
does it have any delayed output relay function?
Yes it has.
Maybe my mistake, but I see the FAN +/- swapped.

Protect for A40
Hi Mr Mile,
Could you please suggest a protect which has both dc protection and short-circuit protection for my A40.
Thank you.

There are lots of DC protect circuits around.
Short circuit protect is a little more difficult as its a juggle between having nuisance protects and not protecting soon enough.

You are right.. but I will add one at least just for peace of mind 🙂There are lots of DC protect circuits around.

Mile,
What is connected to "PRO" ports of this protection schematic? How much AC voltage is required for it to work - is 15V OK?

Pro it should conect to one power emiter on de positive side. About AC power, you have to do some calculations in order to get the correct voltage to feed the relé, mainly the resistor that feed him. But certanly the Boss Miles 🙂 has something to say with more acuracy about it.
