The Brave One - there've been many far more graphic "justifiable vengeance" movies, but I still found this pretty dark, and it certainly left me wondering about the latent violence of which any of us are capable.
"Night Nurse" (1931) - superb young Barbara Stanwyck, Joan Blondell, and up and coming Clark Gable as a bad guy. The whole cast, direction, etc. are very good - especially the scene with Stanwyck, Charlotte Merriam, and Walter McGrail (see clip) . The movie has a happy ending.

Ms. Hurley is amazing in Bedazzled (2000)
Watched it last night, and last month, and the month before, for the last year.

Bedazzled - the original
Hurley makes that film a fanboy favorite, but the ORIGINAL "Bedazzled" with Peter Cooke and Dudley Moore should not be missed - they wrote it. Also - Racquel Welch as "Lust"; no explanation needed.😱

I watched The Princess Bride with a friend last night. She had never seen it before and enjoyed it thoroughly.

saw a thing once that claimed she brought the school girl outfit from home for the movie
This Beautiful Fantastic
A little quirky, a little cute, a little predictable but found it to be an enjoyable movie. Sometimes it is just nice to escape into interesting characters for awhile.

disclaimer, I hadn't seen the preview linked above before watching it and I think that made it even better

A French movie on a flight back from Europe and can't remember the name, but good story and entertaining.
On the same trip, I watched Baywatch and was transfixed at bad it is. When I thought it couldn't get any worse, it surprised me. Wonder Woman is banal cliched rubbish. The new Spiderman is awful. There was another but it was so forgettable, I've forgotten.
