I'm setting up a new HT and I watch a DVD/blue ray every night after tweaks.
Tonight it's SIN CITY
I hope ya enjoy it buddy
Taken individually Frank Miller, QT and Robert Rodriguez are acquired tastes, and all three on the same project could be a bit much. I won't say I "enjoyed" it - in the same sense that I did, say "The Martian" (ultimately "feel good" for me) or even Logan (pretty dark, and not without impalings) , and I did feel I needed a shower afterwards. Thankfully, Zack Snyder didn't join in this gore-fest - now that would have been overkill.
Can I mention this in adult company?
"Mary Poppins"
Ahh a movie where a polite opium-addicted hobo and a witch goes on a magical journey with two kids and tries to melt the heart of a crazed banker father who wants to tear down the established banking system (wherein his observations of the banking system still ring true today) who lives next to a crazy retired sailor captain.

It's based on this true story Shary Bobbins | Simpsons Wiki | FANDOM powered by Wikia
In the cinema: Blade Runner 2049 (Wasted money and lifetime ...)................
Not a patch on the original.
Could have been 30 mins shorter too.....
Tried as I might last night, I just couldn't get through all of "Voice from the Stone" - I've seen Emilia in at least a couple of other pieces of work besides GOT - most notably, "Me Before You" , and she's a delightful chameleon, but even her sculpture modelling session couldn't get me throw this .
yes, the PVR's pause / slow forward functions do come in handy
