SVS sub Indigo board repair

Hello everybody.
-> Frad, I have the same problem. My amp only deliver 7.7V between CD+ and CD- ( on power supply output), it's 300S bash amp ref: 600109 REV6.
You just replace IRF 540 2x IRF 740 transitor and also DB-6 Diac Trigger Diodes?

I found the IRF 540 but not the IRF 740 and DB-6 DIAC Trigger diodes.
If you can send some pictures of your repair. thanks a lot.
And thank you everybody to your help. it's very kind.

I replaced not only the 540 and 740 MOSFETs, DB-6 and another on-Board controls are fried 3070 diodes and Zener 15 volts and field effect transistor n - channel J113 and tl074. The reason was in DB-6 on the control module. And look at the resistor in the 47K 1W power near the electrolyte. Here's my topic on the forum. There will be questions address.

hello everybody.
I replaced some transistor IRF740 and 540.
I also remarked, two tensions regulator +15V and -15V very hot on the amplifier board (L7815cv and L7915cv). the negative gave around -12V. I thought i had found my problem and I replaced it. but still same problem...

I also tried to power my amp without this component (I don't know why but I did it...)
the led amp turn to red without any output, but i measured 30V between CD+ CD-.

So now I know my power supply is working 😛

Today i think I will replace the UC3842A on the daughter card and all the transistor around. I checked the resistance and diodes and they are ok.

I also remarked that: during my tests if I heat the amplifier board, whit an hair dryer the power supply voltage CD+/CD- rises from 8.10V to approx 12V with an output volume increase. Also if I disconnect the ribbon from the daughter card the voltage drops to 8.10V... (after that I changed my regulator +/-15V on this board)...
Any idea?

Noisy SW300 BASH (Niles Audio)-accepts only input from the LFE source (L/R inputs no audio)-seems to amplify OK but mp is extremely noisy, and input level pots from the front panel dont seem to do anything (raise or lower levels)..after a short while start getting a lot of static even with o input signal (I use PA Tone from my cellphone app as the signal source). Any suggestions? Don't know if the PSU, amp sub board, or the preamp board (Indigo 610064) is the issue..I could use some help here..Thanks group!

Additional informations:
C100, C104, C110 are BP, BiPolarized. Not polarized, if difficult to find use 2 * 10 uF 35 v in serial as - + + - or + - - +
or find 4,7 uF film 50V/63v min for example:
WIMA MKS4C044704D00KSSD MKS4, 4.7 µF, ± 10%, Polyester (PET), 63 V
or equivalent.

I am trying to repair a similar product from FOCAL-JMLAB with similar Indigo boards.
Yesterday I find 3* 4,7 uF 35v 85°C fully dryed, this was to have again a LF audio signal path correct.....
Change these caps !!!

Hello everybody and thank you for yours reply.
Alain in your amp what was not functioning? (what were the symptoms?)

FRAD: I was not able to find DB6 i have db 3. do you think it's possible to put them in serie? (i read it's possible but before blowing more composants i prefers ask 🙂 )

thank you.

Similar problem with klipsch AM

Hello Everyone,

I have a similar problem. I have a RSA-500 Subwoofer Amp from Klipsch, suddenly it was connected to 220VAC instead of 110VAC. so the power supply was burned. actually the board that is still burned and I can't get a replacement is the INDICO CANADA 660045-1.
Can anyone help me to get this board of help me to identify its components in order to replace them and repair the board. thanks in advance.
Attached I send a picture of the board.
Regards.

Focal Chorus sw 800 v with indigo 600130 board

Hi all , thaks for a fantastic forum, and all contributions

I have a Focal Chorus sw 800 v with indigo 600130 Power supply board. It is very much like the boards in this thread and is the same board as in the Klipsch nw-12d and Bash 300w plate amp.

The green diode is lit. but the sub doesn't work. The rectifier bridge seems to be ok.

I have followed the recommendations here to measure the voltage from the ps board when the flat cabels are connected. CD+ and CD- are 0v
There is about 100v to ground from both. and from de lower heat sink it is about 120v to common ground(230v current). Is there a short somewhere?

Visual inspection show some signs of leak around the 1000uf capacitor C 412.
There is also a dent on the nearby resistor r211. Also a zener diode close to the trafo has brown heatmarks on the reverse side of the pcb.

My plan is to change the 1000uf when it arrives, if that doesn't solve it i will desolder som of the mosfets an test dem, and also the zener diodes.

Some posters say the lead free solder in combination with a double sided pcb makes it impossible?

I need some advice where to start. I dont find any schematic, but maybe some other schematic kan be used to understand how it works.

Thanks for any help on this
