Brought the amplifier to our local DIY day yesterday and it really sounded good. This amplifier has really good control on the bass. It is really well balanced. I only had 30 minutes of listening so far and I don't have the chassis anymore since it was a temp chassis that my friend lent me for the prototype. The chassis got sold later that day and the amplifier has no more home...
But it is definitely worth putting into a nice chassis, something I will do in the coming weeks.
Thanks

Hello All.
If anyone has 2 x PCB amplifier and power supply? Please PM me and let me know what you have.
Best Regards.

I do no more have any FC-100 PCBs.
If there is some demand, I will order a couple (minimum amount: 10 pcs.) of them.
Best regards - Rudi_Ratlos

Hi Rudi,
I will definitely take a pair if you start another round of GB.
Cheers,
Tim
Hi Rudi
Me too
I will definitely buy a pair and if possible also the power supplies.
Kind Regards
Phil

I am collecting your requests:
FC-100 amplifier PCB:
Mituisho : 2pcs.
Philipp23: 2pcs.
stryx: 2pcs.
Frontend PSU-PCB:
Philipp23
stryx
I am on a short holiday (1 week) right now.
If you agree I would like and do a small change on the FC-100 layout: remove the backend-PSU rectifiers off the PCB and replace them by a full-bridge rectifier
which has to be mounted on the amplifier's heatsink
Concerning the frontend-PSU: I am able to offer you the original shunt Regulator designed by Mihai or a LT3062 - based dual +/- PSU with layout by myself.
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/power-supplies/293758-lt3062-based-psu-3.html
I will once more measure / verify the LT3062 - PSU, when I am back home.
Best regards - Rudi

Hi Rudi, is it possible to make the original soft start available? These are great and I would be interested in a couple of boards. My only concern is if the transformer is available as a standard size, ie from mouser. Thanks.
Hi Rudi,
Please also put me in for 2 sets of frontend PSU (1 for FC-100 and 1 for Symasym TO3).
Thanks,
Tim

+1. The little transformer is the last component I need to locate. 12V EI38 block style seems to be obsolete on my continent. Recent board has no provision for Tamura type. Appreciate any leads for a compatible part!

I think maybe I found a suitable 12V transformer. The CL2-5.0R-12 part fits the PCB footprint, as does the pin spacing. HOWEVER, it has dual primaries and the SPO is setup for single primary. Can someone confirm after looking at this datasheet if simply linking pins 3+4 would allow this transformer to work for here? I think I can do that above the PCB with some wire.

Yes, it would give you a 230V primary. Could be done with a couple of 2mm holes on the pcb and a wire link. Nice work!

My ignorance is going to show now...how to use to 115V?
*edit* Looking at the bottom of the PCB I see that with a couple new holes and some creative wiring it can be made to work parallel or series.

@Luke, my current SoftPowerOn - PCB is described here:
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/group-buys/293550-roenders-fc-100-group-buy-8.html (post #72 and post #83).
I have 1 PCB left.
If more PCBs are needed, I will order a small couple of them.
Best regards - Rudi_Ratlos
P.S.: I will check, if the SPO & Temperature Control PCB accommodates the Tamura transformer, when I am back home.

Rudi, what's the cost of this soft start set? Can it be used for multichannel?
Here's the SPO board with the 12VAC transformer section outlined on both sides. I think the CL2-5.0R-12 mentioned above can be made to work with some new holes and wiring. I initially got the specified Tamura and it's a no-go!
