Wow!!!!! Reminds me of the 1968 hit film 2001 Space Odyssey! I wonder how warm your heatsinks are, you definitely have enough. Just 110 deg Fahrenheit which is 43 degrees Celsius, very cool. I'm using 5U case myself since I see myself building other NP projects.
Enjoy and let us know what other gear you have besides the KEF Speakers.
Best,
Anand.

jdg123: Wow, a thing of beauty. I can appreciate all the hard work you did making that custom enclosure. When I started my custom Cubie3 amp, I knew what I wanted to look like, but about half way through, I began to doubt if it was worth all the work. When done, I am glad I did. You now have a beautiful amp you can be proud of for many years, along with enjoying the beautiful sound, and it should be an inspiration to other would-be builders.
Wow, guys, thanks! I'm just getting home from a crappy day at work and all these kind words wash away that dirt!
I very much enjoy this building of amps. I could not do it without all the generous help I get when I get confused on the inner, working parts. And the man himself helped me out on this one. You guys are great! I'm proud to be among you!
Cheers!

What a fantastic build. It's as much a sculpture as it is an amplifier. Very happy it is working so well for you.

Thanks a lot's Diy Friends

@jdg123 welldone for Extreme working. Change the psu resistors with the hammond 159zj. I am sure that It will be better. And if you like to play with amp, add bypass caps on last psu caps. For example parallel 2.2uf+0.1uf . For just fun 😉

I have heard about that mod few times, what's the purpose really ?
.
Actually it is ideal for cover to speaker's weaknesses. For example, if your speaker is a little boomy, add 0.1uf bypass cap or for fizzy add big one.I have heard about that mod few times, what's the purpose really ?

Hi, Newbe here, so sorry if this is a dumb question. I am thinking of building a F6 and would like to know if this box has adequate heat sinks on it's sides. It is available from E/B at a cost of $60 including postage, not a bad price
Full aluminum silver enclosure WA92 blank chassis/AMP box 213*70*245mm R16 | eBay
Also I hopefully cab use my DCB1, but wonder if I will have enough power to drive my 91db - 6ohm speakers. Cheers 😕😀
Powersupply might need to go in another case (not a lot of room)
That would be a great idea I believe. What type of connection type are you planning for psu case to amp case? I think XLR would be a good idea. In that scenario, I think some additional caps need to be placed inside power amp case across dc rails. Thanks, Good idea, If I put the Trans & P/S in a separate box, Would E/Bay box be OK😕
DIYaudio case + shipping to NZ much to expensive for the project.
Sent from a handheld device. Some typos may creep in
Like Zen Mod suggested you will need one per channel and if you use the diyaudio pcb you will need to run wires from the pcb to the mosfets ie one mosfet on each heatsink.
