Let's not start this again. The pizza and whatever thread. As long as we agree to exclude Chicago-style tomato pie and anything with pineapple on it from being called "pizza."
Have there not been even worse abominations committed with the name "pizza" attached than pineapple and Goat's milk Feta cheese?
Yes indeed. People (and I use that term loosely) in the Midwest often dip pizza in ranch sauce. I would support on the spot execution for that.
Fries with mayo anyone?
Yummy?

God, I'm glad that's a really small picture.
Ack!
And yes you can get a potato/mayo pizza there too.
I've had a potato pizza before and was pleasantly surprised. I've also ventured into the obscure as far as toppings are concerned but I will forever loathe that bad Canadian who first thought about adding pineapple to a pizza. Sorry Pete.
What's next - Cheez Whiz on Beluga caviar?
Having said that, pineapple is cheaper here than in Maui so we do eat quite a lot of it. Grilled rings are one of my faves.

One of our specialty pizzas is topped with thin sliced yellow potatoes tossed with olive oil and rosemary, then caramelized onions and chopped wild mushrooms, and finally raclette. The potatoes almost melt into the crust, and the earthiness just screams for a nice Cornas.
And what's wrong with mayo with fries? It's these pizza threads that are pi**ing me off. There is a small town in the Contra Costa area that offers a real pizza with artichoke hearts. That's right, all veggie pizza. With hearts. You well never miss the meat,Fries with mayo anyone?
And what's wrong with mayo with fries?
Because it's PUS ruining a perfectly good french fry.
In France, esp south you get artichoke on pizza a lot, which I love. Even better if they crack an egg on top
Italy as well- the egg part is especially popular in the areas around Alba and Torino.
I have ketchup AND mayo with my chips.
And this is why when people around the world think of fine cuisines, the first thing that pops into their minds is Britain.
