Ah, all my dear VFET friends are still over here ..... Christophe, Dady, Jama🙂
I'm recovering from a more than two weeks long influenza...haven't build anything, no energy to read or post on DIYAudio... I hate being sick 😡

Nice to see you here 😀

Will 500VA be enough for my VFET SIT-2?

AN-5222 - 500VA 22V Transformer - AnTek Products Corp

Regards,
Dan 😱
Hi Dan
I belive 500 VA are plenty because in Vfet Part 2 Construction Notes Papa write is standard First Watt psu
that mean 300 VA and 22 secondaires are correct voltage 🙂
But this is two pairs version for simplified one pair VfetP2 version psu are total mystery i don't know ?

We've got the brackets to mount TO-3's and boards to heat sinks, on order. Papa has a prototype PCB he's going to test, and when it is proven right, he'll send us the Gerbers and we'll get the PCBs ordered. The PCBs have a bit less lead time so it should work out. I'm afraid it's looking like a solid 2 months at this point. But it will be worth it!

The news I have been waiting on. It sounds as though it is going to happen.

I will be working on an F6 myself.

Has anyone started a "group buy" VFET matching service? I have several sets that I'll make do with, but some better matched sets would be even better.

Hmm, I should get on drilling and mounting a socket for them on my test heat sink.
