8 Channel APEX A-14 amp build finished, sound awesome. Loud and clear , super silent and perfect of home audio.

Using as 7.1 audio system, with 12inch sealed sub-woofer driven by APEX B500 amp. Getting 7.1 channel analog output via Asus Xonar DX sound card and PC.

Listening to music is a pleasure. And playing GTA-V (PC Game) with surround sound effects is real fun. During game play all channels perfectly creates detailed surrounding audio effects around the player.

Thanks Apex for sharing such a nice amp with us.

APEX A9 modified with smps (2 x 48V/300W + aux 2x 15V)
irfp240-9240 0.33Ωμ smooth resistor and 68Ωμ resistor for the gain.
BC 560-550> BC 556-546

Hi Apex . Bass is deep ant strong, tremple is good. Mids is weaker for a9(540-9540) but it is to good...

Mostly done...Just few parts missing...Alex, I saw few changes, mostly filtration, but in schematic is 220uf near bias setting, and you have 2x470uf in series? Can you explain me, functionality this caps?

Are two 470uF capacitors ,back to back to simulate a non polarized capacitor ,one terminal connected to the ground and second terminal it's connected to +/- 1,2V voltage to swing trimpot by 470K resistor .... 😉 Please solder resistor witch it's parallel with output inductor on solder side ..... Nice work ,congratulation .

I want to share my experience on AX-14 .
I will post two set of test.
First test is with input gnd to main star gnd when second with inp.gnd to a separate star gnd ,a little farther.
