thanks for test image, shut down seems to be more stable now, will test it again and again next days. But I can't see my NAS path in MPD web server?
Added path /data/remote and these lines to /etc/fstab to detect my NAS, works nice with 3.2 image.

//192.168.178.35/Squeeze /data/remote cifs user=Admin,pass=studio,cache=none,gid=audio

Herznn: are you mounting disk with symlinked files and directories? I do not understand why allowing symlinks would help otherwise...

please check:
1) /data/remote directory exists
2) "mount /data/remote" command does not report errors
3) there are no errors at the end of "dmesg" command output
4) ls -al /data/remote ... prints NAS content
5) run "Update MPD" database from the web interface

Hi all, any clues as to why 44k plays fine, but 192k seems to play at 1/4 speed on my system? I have 2 external clocks on an Acko s03 reclocker, 45/49, both have their frequencies correct in the uEnv.txt and I have option 3 set, to use 2 external clocks.
Anything else I should be checking?

Can anyone who has gotten the usb wifi dongles to work with the Botic driver expand on the steps they took? I am using a bbb with debian, and the botic booting from an sd. The wifi adapter is from Logic suppy Model Number: UWN100. i got it to work with debian but not the booted botic. thanks
usb wifi support will available be in the next botic4 release... but it seems that ethernet is faster option than wifi

I have never tested this, but you might try (S---) and disable "dsd_native" in the mpd.conf. DoP will be then prepared by MPD.

Strangely, with no changes in hardware or software settings, I find that sometimes I turn it on and 192/24 plays super slow and other times it's totally fine. 44k is always fine. I don't know if it's to do with synching when it's first powered on or something?

I believe you need to specify 'dsd_usb "yes"'disable "dsd_native" in the mpd.conf

I am trying to determine if a bbb runnung your botic driver will work with my dac. My dac has an input pin that requires an input of 1 or 0 for receiving dsd or pcm signal respectively. Is there such an output pin in a bbb running botic?

If you refer to the "BBB pin mapping" section atMy dac has an input pin that requires an input of 1 or 0 for receiving dsd or pcm signal respectively. Is there such an output pin in a bbb running botic?

you will see that P9_26 is I2S/DSD format switch, which is probably what you need ...
but a bigger issue will be to get your pin connections correct, which we cannot help you with because you didn't tell us which DAC chip you have.
The TPA Hermes will remap the BBB outputs when switching between PCM and DSD, but the remapping is done to suit ESS DAC's. I'm not aware of any other DAC chips which use the same pin configuration as ESS does, certainly not the PCM1796.

Then I'm surprised that a PCM/DSD switch is necessary. The ES9018 chip can, and should, automatically detect whether the incoming audio data is PCM or DSD, and change its mode accordingly.I am using a made in China ESS9018 DAC.
