Undarra, I get the same problem with mine 8V shunts. Can you send a photo of the shunt components side?
Ian
Thanks for your help. The input voltage is 11.45v but I've also bypassed the dropper resistor of the supply so I get 12v and still only get 4.5v out. I'll try and post some pictures later.

Guys, When did you receive the shunts? Guido (Tentslabs) has recently started shipping new, improved versions. I just got one from him friday, a 3.3v, which now needs a 8v supply. So I wouldn't be surprised if the 8v needs (+4.7v) 12.7v. But best to ask Guido. My pcb says: Rev. 1.5
Nah, they are marked 15v because 8v isn't standard, my 8v are the same. If you asked for 8v then that's what Guido would have supplied. Post a photo of your connections.
Don't bet on it. My '8v' ones were marked 5v and were in fact 3.3v!

Yes, I suppose we can all make mistakes. Undarra, I think you need to contact Guido to find out for sure.
Stijn. That's interesting to hear, mine only arrived this week and are revision 1.5 too. I'll check with guido first though and see what input voltage he suggests.

Beter then the other way around, you might have fried something.. 🙂

That's probably why I check 'em first 🙂
Strange to read voltage issue with TentLab Shunts, mine are consistently spot on for 8V, 3.2V for those 3.3V and 4.85V for the 5V. Those 8V were marked as 15V on shunt, and those supposedly 3.3V were marked as 5V.
Yes I tested them all up on arrival, and with various voltage input, they are outputting consistently as intended. 😉
Merry Christmas Everyone!
Have a safe festive season with your love ones!
Best,
Chanh
