Tonight's Oscars night, and watch out; 'Gravity' shall win some!
'Captain Phillips'; I love the musical score, big time (ocean time). ♪♪
And 'Gravity'*; I like the musical score even more, huge time (space time). ♪♪ ♪♪

Yes, and 'Gravity' won seven Oscars in total. ...Everyone was nicely dressed for the big Hollywood red carpet occasion.
...And some people had nice things to say too.
'Captain Phillips' won one Oscar.
Matthew McConaughey ('Dallas Buyers Club') won his Oscar; well deserved.
And he gave a nice little speech; love for god, his family and all that jazz.
- In total 'Dallas ...' won three Oscars.
'12 Years a Slave' struck an emotional chord with the Academy voting people.
...In total, three Oscars.
'The Great Gatsby' won two Oscars.

I already saw Nebraska 😉 two weeks ago. Nice slow movie with some hilarious scene's. I believe this is the first time i was ok with almost all the Awards. Only Cate Blanchet and 12 Years a Slave some problems here. Watched Dallas buyers club before the Oscar's, Dallas buyers club has exactly that quality 12 years a slave misses imho. It's even and balanced, the humor is used to introduce and deepen the characters. 12 years is so hard on the eye's it shut's out the audience.
I was amazed La grande Belleza got the Oscar for best foreign language movie. And not Broken Circle Break Down. Both are very good, but i never guessed the subtelilty of La Grande would get noticed by the Oscar voters. If you have not seen Broken Circle, it's a very good and emotional "tearjerker" and a lot more.
I still don't get why anything Woody Allen does would not be perfectly at home in a book or print...

Woody Allen I'm just not a fan. I won't say what I truly think here; it might hurt someone.
'12 Years a Slave' is not my choice; it does nothing new to me.
'Dallas Cowboy Club' is not my type of entertainment either; I don't care much about this flick's actors and actresses. ...That's my own opinion, and nothing to take away from Matthew's diet and weight loss, and Jared's makeup.
'Nebraska' I loved! ...Directed by Alexander Payne.
...And 'Gravity' in 3D was truly entertaining, all around!
...A technical tour-de-force by one of my favorite cinema directors; Alfonso Cuaron.
And no wonder it won seven oscars.
