sir willy pls. check if these is correct..thanks..
Please note the following.
1. Capacitor mark in green 47nF is mistake, you must use 470pF or 471 notification.
2. Don't forget red Jumper wire.
3. Connect Input GND to PSU GND.
4. Check DC out before connect the speaker (you should get 4-6mV).
Good luck...

I usualy make central ground on psu pcb, but gnd connect to case near input terminals not from psu, from psu gnd to case connect 100nF cond.
Hi Apex, based on above quote, is below grounding correct?

Don't confuse Safety Earth with Signal Returns and Power Zero Volts.
The Safety Earth runs from power input socket to Chassis.
The PSU Zero Volts runs to the Main Audio Ground.
The RCA input socket has a Signal Return. This Signal Return MUST connect the Source to the amplifier PCB Signal Return/Signal Ground.

need help..
I need help to the experts here in DIY to identify which wire colors is 220 volts AC this is multivoltage transformer i buy this in electronic work shop here in my place.. thank you so much and more power to all.

Hi Andrew,
Is this what Apex meant as you have explained?

going by color is not guaranteed...
what you can do is get a 6 volt ac source and inject this voltage to any secondary winding...
then measure the voltage on the primary side, these are the coils that have higher dc resistance, there will be at least 2 sets of primary coils with taps for 100, 110 and 120...
you can connect the primaries so that you get the highest voltage....
Hi Andrew,

not Andrew, but the safety ground connects to the chassis metalwork directly, i usually do that using a ring lug and bolting to one of the IEC fasteners...
now for your PSU ground, it does not need to connect to the chassis at the same point as your safety ground, but you must connect that to a single point wherein all other circuit grounds connect....you can ground that to another point on your chassis...
avoid using the chassis to run psu currents, all B+ leads must have its own B- returns leads.....if you follow this you will have a quiet amp...
