These guys were running a 50% off sale, so I had them make a front panel for me
protopanel link
I worked to a drawing posted in this thread, and crossed my fingers and hoped for the best, normally I would wait for the actual board, but I wanted the 1/2 off price.
So everything fits OK, but the switch button holes are too large, I think they sell covers for the switches (there a silver ones that come with the chassis, based on the pictures).
I was wondering if anyone knows where to find them.
Holes are 8.2mm diameter

I think I found something at Mouser that looks suitable, but I need to measure the switch size when I get home.
Any change of getting the switch part number, so I can look at the data sheet?

Hi Quanghao,
the address is fine. My neighbour told me that FedEx left a notice. I will be back in town on Friday. I sent you a PM with my address and phone number.
Thank you

ok, i was sent your information to FedEx, he can sent to you early

Hi quanghao,
Does the display board require a separate power supply?

yes, but in the DAC have it for display board!
thanks

The display board get the power supply from the signal cable.
Could you check the cable connection ?
Please check the photo on post #676 about cable direction.

OIC. So the power supply:
2 x 15-0-15 Vac/>200mA
2 x 0-6 Vac/>1A
Am I right?

The transformer should be ok but have you check the cable direction ?

Exactly, invite you to review this picture

Please be reassured that I was not implying the display board was not working. I just want to make sure that the transformers I am about to order are suitable for the boards.😱

Am I correct in assuming that both of the Op-amp sockets on your I/V boards are designed for dual op-amps?

yes,
EX; op-amps 2134, if use sing op amp, please see link opam 627:
http://www.partsconnexion.com/product4269.html
Here some output stages to test:
1) Original ES9018 schematic for evaluation - active IV with feedback (balanced)
Common op-amp configuration
2) Actual op-amp module
used also in Mark Levinson no. 380 and published on OPA627 datasheet as High Speed Instrumentation Amplifier (balanced to use in voltage or current mode with passive IV)
3) Lundahl LL1684 (balanced in voltage mode)
4) Satri design (not suggested)
5) AD844 design (not suggested)
6) My design based on Phase Tech HD-7A (balanced current mode)
7) Raleigh Audio Line Stage clone with K & K Audio Basic CCS modules (balanced current mode with passive IV)
8) DAC End 2 I/V - SE with 5687 or E182CC by Quanhao (un-balanced current mode with passive IV)
I should test many of these in the next days.
Why are you not trying any configurations where you are using a transformer as the actual I/V convertor? I realize that Lundahl doesn't make any porpose-buit DAC transformers, but Sowter does. And Lundahl also does make some amorphous MC transfomers, which seem like they might be suitable in this application, even despite not being specifically designed for this task.
