Yup ! I want to do something similar , but with just paralleled woofers and a little 2" FR as mid tweeter in a waveguide .
Just finished this weekend.
lovely! is this a wave-guide for the hf?

Ya, it's an SB29RDCN-0004 tweeter in a dayton 8" waveguide.

Thanks for all the kind comment. 🙂
I should have posted more details 😱
Those are silver flute woofers (w20-8 or something like that). Goes pretty loud. Sealed 25L. Meant for HT use with sub(s).

Testbox for 8BG51
I built a test box for my B&C 8BG51 during this week, the result is a hideous shaped speaker that sound great. I currently play a 54Hz sinusoidal tone to break in the transducers. I only have a micro stereo available as amp for now, I will later bring home my McIntosh and test the speakers fully.
But the speakers actually sounds much better than they look, even though the crossover was made without any simulation of any kind!

PC sound upgrade
Hey not lot of speakers shown in recent months so i thought id post my latest.
I have started making PC music again so wanted some mid-fi desktop speakers.
Drivers mid/bass left over old Hyundai midi system.
Tweeters Chinese Kasun brand picked as smaller than normal fabric dome units.
2LR xover around 4k fed from hi-pass small 2.1 powered sub.
Got fed up with my crap cabinet skills and this pipe caught my eye.Kills three birds with one stone. Not much construction technique ,ready sized, look good (PLUTO-esque desktop) and are angled for nearfield listening positioning.
Need some fine finishing (glue allover ),sand and paint.
results better than expected ,nice and clear.

Here is the recent project I've done with AM team. This time we experimented a bit with HiVi Swans drivers. The cabinet was inspired by the design of mark 21 by troels, made using mahony wood.
It is a 3 way system, using twin woofer for power efficiency to drive this speaker.
Tweeter: Vifa XT19TD00-04 3/4" Ring Radiator
Midrange: HiVi Swan M5A, 5" Alloy Cone
Woofer: 2 x HiVi Swan M6A, 7" Alloy Cone
Those are gorgeous, did you use solid mahogany all the way through or is it laminated?
Diy nano magnetic ribbon, with modified scanspeak 8". One on each side of inclusior. Groundsound dsp preamp or minidsp.
crosover 400hz LR24db. Ribbon 400-45000hz.

ABJ, that looks really tasteful. I see you have mounted the woofer amp to the wall, any particular reason? It kinda looks like a heater like that. 😉
Also, that woofer looks small compared with the ribbon. How big is your room and why did you choose that size?
Not suggesting anything, just asking.
Cheers.

The amp one the wall is for and SW-12-16FR Servo Sub Woofer.
The only reason for the 8" woofer is we had them at hand. They play down too 35 hz. the room is 30 M2.
