If you get crazy enough to decide that carbon fiber is something you want to play with, let me know. I have a friend who does hand made carbon fiber parts for race cars. He's got all the stuff and the setup to make everything from small parts to hood sized parts.

Mmmmmmmm crunchy resistors and jelly filled electrolytic caps. The ones that have been slightly smoked can be really tasty. 😀😀😀

We are planning to get some snow here today and that is always interesting in the southern states because it does not happen very often. They will shut the schools down as soon as any flakes start flying in order to keep the little kids safe from crazy guys sliding around on the roadways. I learned how to drive in the snow up north - so no big deal to me at all. Buuuuuuuuut I will stay off of the roads because it is unsafe to be there with all of these idiots sliding around...

I'd be able to play, as well. I've been building replica race cars (McLaren Can Am cars) for the last two decades...... Have access, too, to a large autoclave for pre-preg materials, and access to kevlar and other exotic composites......
