Vin 280V Vout max 131V, I need Vout 260V, measurements done loaded with Puresound MM.😕
You have to increase the current limit of your SSHV. What is the current consumption of your Puresound MM?
I don't remember exactly but was 40mA aprox. Puresound only uses 1 tube ECC83 + 1 tube ECC88.
If you will see big difference across R1 with old and new Tx, avoid the one with the R1 current gets smaller. It must be reacting if there is difference.
You might need more warp power! 🙂 Try to give it more juice/current. Maybe try R1=47R and see if things improve.

Seems to me all the current drawn is 12mA and the circuit behaved correctly in that although you increased the idle current the current drawn by the circuit+load did not change. You got 280-131 = 149V across the series mosfet, you better have some serious heat sink while testing, in case the current goes up by whatever reason.
If you want higher Vout then higher value R4 should work. While keeping R8 fix measure the voltage across R4 to figure out the current, then calculate a new suitable R4.
If you're using a 2sk170bl, using R8=300R should give you about a 1mA current going through R4. An R4 of about 240k should put you in the ballpark Vout of 240V. Then you can do some small adjustments of R8 WHILE THE VOLTAGE IS OFF and measure again.

What's the voltage across R4? Do you have a resistor load attached? If so, what value?
While you're at it, check the voltage across R9 and R5. Q2 might be out to pasture.

voltage across R4 284V
Puresound MM if you want I can remove & connect a dummy load of 15K
voltage across R9 0V
voltage across R5 0V

Hi!
Is their any negative rail version of the SSHV2?
Thanks and regards,
No. You should float two positives from double secondaries and bridges.
Voltage across R1 47R between 0.594V and 0.596 = 12mA 119Vout max.
Did you try with the old Tx yet?
Did you try with the old Tx yet?
No, do you want that I try? now R4 240K I left or I come back to 120K?
Yes. 12mA is too low for 3 leds and 56R. Something smells funny. You had shown 260V on 15k dummy with the old Tx.

I left 240K for R4 or I change for 120K?
