HelloEvita, all the windings are made with 1 inch wide copper foil........the extra turn has no connections externally though.......
Primary=10+1 Turns
Secondary= 2 X 12 Turns
Winding order is S😛+ET:S
For what in primary +1 ?
One extra unconnected turn is used for shielding purposes.
Thanks
To me came across two variantsView attachment TR.pdf
And what is better?
The second variant overcomes the need for a shield turn by placing the primary winding switching end (and its first few turns) far from the secondary winding ground lead.
Here's the QSC PL380 Schematic

Oh!My God!not copying,I paste some pl380 pictures just ago,not our products,We have experience in class D about 10years.only learn some.
Hi, Im interested in your high Power 8000W Class D Amp
to buy for german clients
Its impossibile to contact your company by your website...failure
can you send me your email by private message

Anyone tested PL380 under dummy load?
Let's say 4 ohms one channel loaded, 100Hz till clipping, oscilloscope parralel to dummy load?
I quit to do classD amplification and I keep concentrate mine time on TD class.
How manny watts are here on that movie?
The dummy load is 4 ohms at 25 celsius degrees, let-s say 5 ohms at incandescence.
The protection of mine SMPS with PFC, tripps at 3500-3600Watts, and it have do that at the end of the movie.
Freq is 93,7 Khz resonant mode trafo is ETD59 3F3, 55 amps warp IGBT's
I used 2 small capacitors for secondary filtrage 1000uF/200Vcc power supply was +/- 170Vcc in idle and falls down at +/- 165Vcc at full load, because of PFC .
Also a "little pumping of supply" to +/- 175Vcc pulses because of PFC stabilisation too.
No fan on any heatsink of SMPS part, no more than 50 celsius degrees in couple minutes of testings (sure I will use in finished model).
The "noise coil" is from coils of TD class (selfresonant), for next experiment I will use piloted downconverter.
So , what's the power (permenent sustained) achieved and what wiil be the burst power of that "mine experiment"?
watch the movie, please!
