Practically,none... eh?
There is nothing,so far, that meets all those criteria.. so we have to wait,or improvise!!! 😎

*coughs and points to his own design* Does included SAF (sister approval factor) count? 😛

Anyway, the next idea I want to build is a 6 sided column, just about omnipolar standing under 2 meters tall. With a width of no more than about 15 cm and potentially any colour it might just have both great sound and a definite WAF.

I always believed the tall columns of Piega were one of the easiest speakers to blend good sound with wives.
Looking at the new speakers from Holgraphic Audio Arts
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
(see the smaller example at the far left) and thinking of the colour options from for example ZU audio makes me think any speaker that can be "camouflaged" has a high enough WAF.

The best WAF speakers are and have always been in-wall/in-ceiling speakers. I would say in-ceiling would be the better of the two. I would love to build some in ceiling speakers but it seems I can only find rectangular in-wall blank baffles. If anyone knows of a source of in-ceiling please please please let me know.

I had a set of those...

I have a set of those. Look great, sound awful. There was a tube amp powered version, BTW.

Women generally like speakers that look like furniture. Of course they want it to be in style of furniture they like. If it isn't, then it has to be tiny.

My wife complained about my giant speakers for years. Then when we got a house where I have my own listening room the first thing she did was go out and buy big speakers. :xeye: But they are late 50's vintage Fisher in the Danish modern style (her fav). "They are furniture, dear."

The drivers in a lot of the cheap in-ceilings are very cheap. You are paying for the mount which at least on some of the higher end angles the speaker at the listener a bit. If there were baffles available I bet you could build a speaker that sounds 10X better for the same price as the ones at lowes
