If the dac makes that much heat, that would be new to me. That is definitely for an amp. A couple of those and you can make all sorts of nice class A goodies.
What does the LED in the Aleph 4 indicate ?. Is it simply POWER or does it indicate CLIPPING ?

I just read the I/V article and found it informative and interesting. I'm left with a simple question: How do I apply this device to a CD player?
Is "direct out" available as a port, or do we have to dive inside the chassis? I can't believe the engineers didn't take Nelson seriously--my god, we could have been listening to pure silk a decade ago.
